Default Need help (from US) with an ebay-auction

Some days ago a poster I really, really want show up on Ebay. The problem is that the seller donīt ship outside US (and I live in Sweden). So I contacted the seller and ask if he could ship to Europe if I payed the extra postage etc. And he answer that it was ok. But when I try to bid I get the message:

"You are unable to bid on or buy this item because:
You are registered in a country to which the seller doesn't ship."

I tried to contact the seller again yesterday and ask him to change to "worldwide" or something so I can bid. But now there is only 14 h left and nothing has happened so I am worried he donīt have read my message or donīt know how to change (he hasnīt sold so much stuff on ebay before so I understand him in that case:-).

So I wonder if someone here can bid for me. I would really appreciate it and of course pay a little reward for the help:-). We can say ten US-dollars (and I prefer to use Paypal to pay you, itīs easy and I have no experience in the other common pay methods).

Send me a PM if you are interested to make a swedish member happy:-)!

    Here are some feedback:

Just go to options and change your country to USA. I've done it before and it works fine.

Thanks for the tip, will try. But must I change "all" (just two, shipping and registration...) my adresses to US-adresses or can I just mark "US" without fill in street, state etc?

I dont remember, but try registered adress first. If you need a valid zipcode, adress and phonenumber (if Ebay checks it, dont remember) just go to www.whitepages.com and search for a random name like John Smith or something hehe =)

Ok Well, sometimes its nessessary that all info match, like right zipcode to right state etc. If you dont know these info whitepages helps you.

That was a great tip, good to know later on as well. Just hope everything work out fine in the end. Really want this poster (will reveal it when the auction is finished - maybe nothing special for anyone else than me - but the last month I have lost two auctions to people on forum after I have tip about them their there - bad strategy...;-).

Edit; yes, you had right. But I took right zip code to right state/district, but then "mix" the rest (phone number etc).
