Excellent, I'm going to aim to show up somewhere around 3:30 - 4, if all goes well.
left the house in a hurry today, forgot my DS and games, forgot pop n music, and forgot a change of clothes just in case.
I'll be leaving Green Bay around 4:30 and be there around 5:30 - 6:00
I really wanna play some smash bros. Do I need to bring extra controllers? or are we good on those?
I hope everyone who came had a good time Saturday.
The day kicked off with Matt-El arriving first. He schooled me at King of Fighters ('03?) until Kamino arrived. If memory serves The Brown Eye popped in followed by dave2236. Played some Wii Sports, some Bomberman import and then came the Super Smash Bros Melee. Later the N64 came out and got our Conker's Multiplayer, Mario Kart 64 and Perfect Dark games on. Kamino ducked out earlier due to having to go to work for a few hours. When he got back we decided to check out his place as the group size was pretty small.
Got to his place and played some TMNT Arcade on his 360 (and discovered a funny bug that will let you mop up 7 achievement points without even playing) followed by a little Rockstar Table Tennis. After not being able to find any 4 player games, out came the guitars for some GH2.
All in all a fun night. Hope to do this again sometime.
It absolutely was a good time. Thanks to you (and Kamino) for hosting.
A couple of random notes: I hate table Table Tennis. I am not coordinated enough to play Guitar Hero. Pizza is good. We must do this again.
And I hope Kamino got his leak fixed...
I talked to him on Sunday. His landlord's going over to caulk it. I'm not sure exactly WHAT they're going to caulk as there looks to be extensive wood rot from what little I could see. It'd take a lot of freakin' caulk.
Kamino: if you read this I highly suggest you flip flop your couch and TVs. A couch is cheap to replace. Your TVs aren't. Plus who knows how much floor damage you have now so in a short time the TV stands closest to the leak could start to sink through the floor. I've had it happen to me at my old trailer. It didn't sink all the way through but there was a noticeable sunken "ridge" where my wife's circa early 1990's Sony rack system with heavy power sub sat.
