I LOVED Sky Kid and Renegade for NES. And Rolling Thunder, too.

Jerry Glanville's Pigskin Footbrawl for Genesis. I'm sorry, but the screaming sound effects on this are funnier than hell.

Super Sprint on Arcade Party Pak (PS1). None of my friends get why I like it. Come to think of it, I don't why either.

I still enjoy playing the first Smackdown on PS1, too. Especially Season, because you can just skip quickly through matches you're not involved in.

That's about it for the moment.

Let's see, what is it that everyone hates and I love...
Sewer Shark (for some reason, I can't get enough of it!)
Altered Beast (well I don't get much flak for this one, too much cheese!)
Pokemon Pinball/Trading Card Game (don't know why, don't ask why)

    I think that's about it...

I don't think any of my friends really agree with me on thinking that Final Fantasy IX and X were fun. Most of my friends didn't agree with me on Kingdom Hearts either. I dunno....I loved 'em.

Since this thread's been revived, I wanted to add Fighter's Desitny for N^$ to my list. For my money, this is the only N64 fighting game worth anything. It got trashed all over the place, but you have to realize, the controls aren't sluggish, simply different. Once I got used to everything and spent some time practicing, I found it to be an extremely enjoyable departure from the traditional fighting game. The counter system is easy to learn, hard to master. I also liked the strategy element. Do I go for the easy one point ringout, or go for broke and try for a four point knockout? Unfortunately, I've never met anyone else who even remotely liked this game, so I've never had a good challenge at it.

I'm going to second Pokemon Pinball. ALot of people though it was a way to just make money of something trendy, but it was a very good pinball game. I can't wait for the new ones.
I am in fact the guy that made the Raisins prototype worth thousands less by dumping it. "D'oh!!"

Any first person shooter that was originally available on the PC and then ported. I am sick of hearing how you can only truly master a FPS with a mouse and keyboard.
So Sorry. You are average player. Please try again later.

I've got loads really, but some are:

    PO'ed - 3DO.

I really enjoyed this. I thought it done a great job of immersing you into a really alien world.....everything was weird but sort of made sense...great feeling of space too. I think pretty much everyone dumped on this game except for the UK 3DO mag.

    Rapid reload/Gunners heaven - Playstation.

A UK launch title, and I love it. 2D and heavily influenced by Gunstar Heroes, it plays really nicely, the controls are great and its just a fun 2D shooty platformy thing. Slated over here for nor utilising the full power of the PS!!!???

    TD Overdrive - XBox

Everything I've heard says its naff...and I just enjoy playing it...more than GT3, more than gotham!!!

Hello everyone, this is my first post on these forums.

Anyways, I also like to play Final Fantasy 8. I don't understand what is so wrong with this game. I have heard complaints about the junctioning system, but it is not that bad in my opinion. (But then again, maybe I think that it is not that bad because FF8 was the first RPG I ever played.)

I am not sure if this is a disliked game or not (but I would not doubt it), but Mario's Time Machine for the SNES. For some reason, I actually like this game.

    Default Tron

    Tron Deadly Discs for Intellivision.

Can't figure out why so many people seem to hate this game. It rocks!! It's one of my all time favorite top ten games - period!
I could play this thing for hours and hours.

I really liked Robo Warrior for the NES...and the RPGs 7th Saga and Illusion of Gaia for the SNES. Chalk it up to few games I've ever played.

I got some slack for liking No One Can Stop Mr. Domino!!! from my friends because they thought it was just too weird. But it was such a cool game, I couldn't take it out of my Playstation for weeks after I got it!

My friends have weird taste in games though, they even teased me for getting giddy about buying Intelligent Qube and beating the living rap out of it. IQ Is the only reason my PS-X is still plugged in right now

I am completely transfixed by Gravitar (Arcade) which gets a lot of play time in my MAME cabinet. Gravitar gets a lot of grief for its difficult gameplay, and I agree it's not easy. But it is one of the best vector games ever and worth the time to master. Playing Gravitar is like drinking stout beer; you do it in order to prove that you can do it.

Oh, and despite the crude graphics, the 2600 version of Gravitar is fun, too. Anybody wanna toss a spare silver label cart my way?

Cobra Command 'Laserdisc' (Arcade) I think this is one of the better laserdisc games that was made in 1984. Real hard, real challenging and real fun. Its a all around great game. In Cobra Command, you command a fully armed helicopter and must take on enemy helicopters, planes, tanks, and ships in order to destroy their stronghold on an area. Your missions take you though the forest, in the canyons, through the desert ruins, out to the pacific ocean, and right though good ole' New York City.

Badlands 'Laserdisc' (Arcade) The controls for Badlands were unique. All you had was one big red fire button. You had to wait until the timing was right and then fire off a few rounds into the bad guy. Almost to the exact frame which made this game very frustrating, but also very fun. A lot people think this game is a stinker but I played this game a lot when I was a kid in 1984. The funny pic you see on the right is from Badlands
