And it's on the Wii!

I'm very much looking forward to this now. I really enjoyed the first game - and found it much more intense than the vast majority of "survival horror" games.

fucking ports for the Wii.
Developers have got to hate publishers.
Probably so, but they at least have a different team working on it for the Wii.
I have my fingers crossed.
I have heard that the manhunt game was brutal but lacking. I hope this version makes up for its predecessor.
Damn, thats one title I would never have thought would be on the Wii. Whats next Punisher 2 for Wii?
PS2 and PSP too. I guess the reason why Wii is the only next gen console that gets this is because porting this to 360 or PS3 would give bad reviews due to lack of gfx.
I think its alittle funny that Wii gets this game. I remember Nintendo was jealous at Sony because GTA sold so good and they said "Mario will never start to shoot hookers". True enough, but if you read between the lines they say that Nintendo dont want/need violent games. And now Manhunt, one of the most violent games ever is comming to Wii, lol, crazy stuff hehe.
Now we can do some nunchuck choking!
/not to be taken out of context
Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Number 1 in the 'hood g!
"brutal but lacking" that is a good quote for this game. I enjoyed it but it was a little bit of a struggle to get to the end.
I do like the rawness of the game such as the spray painted swear words etc but it just didn't hit home with me. I hope the 2nd makes up for some of the lacking.

Oh God this is awesome news.
Please, please, please let us crack people on the head with the remote. And strangle them with the nunchuk.
i disagree and will say that the first one was purely awesome and giving the context of the game i thought it was pretty fitting. i am so pumped for the sequel.
ps. if anyone has seen my game room pics they'll see the large gamestop preorder sign from ways back hahaha
I didn't think of it but it sounds awesome! I can already see Jerk Thompson riding this game for the huge amounts of violence. He would single out the Wii version saying the wiimote is a murder weapon... not like anyone actually pays any mind to what he says though. I just like watching him make an idiot of himself. Its become one of my fav pass times. =)
Anyway...
I never played the first but I heard it was really violent. Some of the ways you could kill people would make some cringe or even turn away from the screen. From the sounds of it, it wasn't a game for the faint of heart.
Gotta respect Rockstar for giving the Wii some bloody love.
the first one was great, i was hopeing they were gonna make a sequal and im happy its going to be on the ps2, kinda freaked me out till i saw the end of the trailer..
I loved the first one..... it was real slow in the beginning, but once I got into it I thought it was worth playing. Definatly one of the most violent, if not the most, I have ever played. So when I saw it was coming to the Wii I got extremely excited. Looks like the Wii was what Nintendo needed to finally get rid of that 'kiddie' image everyone put on the company.
A different team of developers for the wii versions as opposed to the Sony ones also makes me believe it's not gunna JUST be a port. I'm thinking this is gunna be a pretty hands on game with alot of use for the controllers (can't you just imagine it now?)
Somebody make me a "CGE 2k7 Attendee banner" so I don't have to use this lame text
