Haven't posted in a while, but got tax returns back the other day and decided to go for my first DS (was looking for a Wii, but no luck). All the DS items were retail prices. DS = $130, Cooking Mama = $20, FF3 and CV:PoR = $35 each. All from Best Buy. "From Hell" DVD also from BB for $9.99.

The other items were from pawn shops and got good deals on them:
    - Kid Icarus (NES) + House of Wax + Money Train = $10

I was talking on MSN to buddy in Edmonton aboot controller adaptors for the Dreamcast, the next day I was out with the GF for a drive and we stopped at a Salvation Army (I cant drive past them) and found a PS2 to Dreacast controller adaptor. (freakin wierd).
Scored a Nintendo Action Set almost complete in box (missing console instrucstions) with 9 games and a Game Genie with the large book of codes.
Lined up at 2 stores yesterday and managed to get a Wii. Zellers had 3 and I was nice enough to let the little kid in the line behind me take my spot cause I was number 3. Raced over to Toys are us and got aboot the 10th spot in a line and got the Wii they had a 20 or so there. So last night I got some excersize, damm im out of shape.

Those were my finds so to speek for this month, bring on the garage sale season.

Ghost Lion and Ghost Lion were $4 each. Final Fantasy I prolly paid too much for at $20, but I wanted a boxed copy. No manual or maps for it either.

Dragon Warrior was $4. Came with a bunch of stuff too; A map, Adventure Guide sheet, a poster with dungeon maps on the other side, and the manual.

Niiiiiice. I actually saw a boxed copy of Final Fantasy on NES Saturday for $19. Didn't feel like paying that much, plus I have a loose copy and I already spent $29 bucks or so on 4 games.

I received 3 games today, all for the GameCube...

    Madden NFL 07
    Wario World
X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse

I've decided I will probably stop buying GameCube games when my collection reaches exactly 100 games...meaning I now have less than 10 to go...

I'm amazed at the FF NES prices. I bought mine when Game Stop was clearing out NES games and grabbed it for under $10. There were some good games for nice prices at that time, I miss it. Game Crazy though has buy 3 games for $10 on N64, PS1, SNES, NES, GEN and other 8/16/32 bit systems.

I found a whole bunch of VHS anime at Cash Converters today!

    Roujin 2
    Robot Carnival
Royal Space Force the Wings of Honneamise
    Bounty Dog
    3x3 Eyes Perfect Collection
    Wicked City
Mad 34 Bull Part 1: Scandal
Tenchi the Movie: Tenchi Muto in Love
    Armitage the Third: Poly-matrix

All 9 tapes came to $6 so now I have a bunch of videos to watch.

    Also I picked up:
    Genesis:
    Sunset Riders (L - $3)

A friend looks at me wierd because I'm buying all these classic animes on VHS when some are available on DVD. I'm going to watch them and most likely keep for awhile. I might sell my VHS tapes back to another store or something later in the summer, we'll have to see.

Oh, and a thrift store they had a Power Mac 3 desktop with tons of memory and all the drives and all intact. I might go back it pick it up for the $10.

Yesterday I found this at the flea market

"Omega Race" ColecoVision cart- 50 cents

Most of the other stuff was random RF Switches and power supplies. Slim pickings...
These cartridges are dirty as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!
