    Default Cheetahmen II, Please Help!

Ok, I just won a copy of cheetahmen II online and wanted to know if anyone knows what this game looks like? I have it here in my hands, but had never seen a copy before. My copy has an action 52 outter cover and just a sticker on the other side saying "cheetahmen II". Is this what they used for the cases? the action 52 case? Also, what makes this game complete? I have thought that there were instructions, and possibly a comic of some sort? Please, any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Matt

Yeah, I've heard before that they come in the action 52 cases.

Sounds about right.. I think the comic came only with Action 52.

You should be looking for case, box, manual. The usual. All depends on what you consider complete.

If you don't mind, how much did you pay for it??

I paid $91.00 for it. A small mint for one game I think, but I figured I need it sooner or later. Did an instruction manual every come with it? The ad said complete, but don't know if ever an instruction manual was made for this game... Still looking for that answer... Thanks, Matt

The game cheetahmen II was placed in action 52 casings that the manufacturer still had lying around. Not much of those made.

I have it sealed so dunno if it comes with manual or anything..

    Sheesh:
Just in receiving this game I have found out more than I thought I would ever know. Thought I would like to share it since many might not know.

    1. Because of costs, cheetahmen II was placed in the action 52 casings and only a golden sticker reading "cheetamen II" is placed on the back side. (note the two different spellings from the box and the sticker: an obvious reason for why it is spelled the latter way on the rarity list: Still haven't figured out why "little samson" is always said to be little samPson?..)
    2. The game contains no instruction manual, but does contain one single doublesided orange piece of paper. (the size of the game) telling you how to return to the main menu at any time on one side, and saying that the game might reset itself trying to configure itself to your model nes from 2-6 times. (this feature was left on from the action 52 game)
    3. The last thing included in the complete game is a neat looking purple sleeve with the quality assurance logo in the middle.

I found all that a bit interesting, hopefully someone else will..

Sounds about right. I also got a sealed Cheetahmen2 game from eBay ($30 IIRC, it was way back when Mike Etler still had crapload of it to sell) and it was just a game cart (recycled Action 52 case), an orange instruction card, and that purple sleeve. Nothing else, no game manual or comic book.

Why it is selling for so much nowdays is beyond me as the game is probably the all time worst NES game, if not the #1 worst.

Isn't it always the case where the worst game costs the most $$$ because when it was out in the stores nobody purchased it??

Unfortunately yes. But not always as Chrono Trigger (for example) didn't sell very well because it was released at the end of SNES' life and many people passed it up for the next gen console. So not many copies of CT was released and when everyone found how great it was, they had to compete against collector for the hard to find game.
