I guess this one goes more for the sellers. The dollar is falling against the yen, so if you've been looking at something sold from Japan you might as well get it now...I think. Does anybody have any insight onto how/whether sellers dealing in US/Japanese currency really adjust for slumps or spikes in the dollar?

The way I understand it, it's best to import when the Yen is weak against the dollar. So, now is not a good time to import, since each dollar you pay will cover fewer Yen.

Depends on the sellers currency. Generally, I don't think they're going to change their prices if they're usually selling in dollars. At least unless it's a sharp move. Deputy services that accept dollars and do transactions in yen change their service fees all the time.

116.71 is still a good yen... at least it is for people that live in Japan, earn yen, and save dollars. Remember that in the last 8 or 9 years, it has been between 105 and 148.
