    Default Vic-20 game carts

    Hello all...

Does anyone out there know if VIC-20 carts from Australia would work in a US NTSC VIC-20? I would imagine the unit itself defines NTSC vs PAL, and that the software would be irrelevant, but before I perhaps buy some, I just want to see if anyone knows. I've gotten games for the Amiga and Atari ST from the UK (hence - PAL) that worked just fine on my US machines, but better safe than sorry. Anyone know? Thanks.

Yeah they should work okay, though some of them might have the screen positioned funny. Always been a complicated part of the Vic20 heritage that. Trying them out in Vice first would give you an indicator.
