How do you justify selling games games that aren't factory sealed or even sealed at all as brand new games?

What game isn't factory sealed besides the Radiant Silvergun? Just because it isn't sealed doesn't mean it isn't brand new. Bronty is a known collector on many sites and he sells legit stuff.

    BTW - Nice stuff Bronty!!

As you said, the RS is the only game that isn't factory.

There were a lot of games, especially import ones that were never sealed to begin with. Not saying Bronty has any of these listed and I am no Saturn expert, but I don't think they were sealed in Japan either. I know for a fact that Famicom, Super Famicom, MegaDrive etc weren't sealed.

well, I think its possible for something to be 'new' without wrap. I have a few games that I opened from sealed copies. They've never been played and all contents are 10/10 condition. You can't really call that 'used' can you? the radiant silvergun isn't one of those games, but it does look brand new.

First off Nice NES games I would love to have those... second... I dont think I would put an opened Item even if not played as NEW... because its not... sealed would be NEW. But really who cares... you can see its open... maybe you should say in Like New condition.

    Good luck on the auctions.

    thanks.

that's actually pretty much what I did, my auction description says 'as new.'

The auction title itself I couldn't fit anything more into.

Congrats on all the sales Bronty! Sending an email in a few (still havent gotten around to it). Pretty good price. I didnt know you had one. I was offered about $1000 for mine but turned it down. Didnt want to get rid of it and honestly questioned the validity of the offer. Some of the sealed games pulled insane priced (IE, mario, DW 3 etc).

yeah he got some high prices there... the DW 3 and 4, The SOtN surprised me and the Super mario RPG all seemed to go a bit high... As for the DKC, It did go pretty high at $900, but I have this fair valued at about $600 complete right now, and I haven't seen one in a while so it's not an omg price. For some reason the DKC is in much more demand than the starfox one, which I believe is running about $275. The rest seem about in line with my expectations...You definitly didn't have any cheapies there

Dk is much rarer and when found is often covered in stickers. The box is very tough. If star fox had a box I'm sure boxed copies would also be expensive.

thanks. smb, metroid, dws all did better than I thought, along with some others... I definitely wasn't disappointed!
