Default Choro Q Series and its Released Games

I was wondering if I caught so far all of the US released games of the Choro Q series. Since there are spin-offs like 'Seek and Destroy' and lots of games of the series released in Japan, it is easy to overlook titles.

These 'innocent,' simple and sometimes awful games are just intriguing. Here is what I have so far:

    PS2:
    1) Road Trip
    2) Choro Q
    3) Gadget Racers
    4) Seek and Destroy

    GC:
    1) Road Trip. The Arcade Edition

Are there more US releases? I have to say that I didn't play so far Road Trip for the PS2 supposedly the best in the series and fun to play.

BTW, these games are cheap. I paid for each (used and new) from $2 to $5 over the years in various sales and gamestores.

TMK, you're missing Road Trip and Gadget Racers on the GBA, and Penny Racers on the N64.

I have Road Trip and ChoroQ on the PS2, and Gadget Racers on the GBA. It'd be cool to own the others, but I'm not actively hunting down what I don't have. So far, the PS2 Road Trip is my personal favorite.

I like Choro Q, I'm into that type of racing. Can't say I was even familiar with those others and is interesting to know.

I've got all those above pictured games and personally love Everywhere Roadtrip and Seek And Destroy (tanks that shoot!!!).

None of those are really really hard to get outside of the cube title and they are all mindless fun to boot.
Because it makes no attempt to be great, it is therefore extremely great.

Thanks, I forgot to say that I meant for THIS generation of consoles and I'm not interested in handhelds.

...but you know, this is a good opportunity to list maybe ALL of the games in the Choro Q series for all systems. I didn't know about the N64 game.

My notes say for the PLAYSTATION

    - Choro Q Jet Rainbow Wings
    - Penny Racers

and you're right, for the N64 was a Penny Racers, too, and you're right about the GBA games.

Was that it for US releases or are there other games?

I can't find a copy of Road Trip Arcade Edition in decent shape around here...I may have to resort to ebay. Still need to pick up the GBA games, too...but I've never seen 'em in the wild and I darn refuse to buy 'em off eBay since they'd most likely be bootlegs

Got and love all of the rest. Personal favorite is probably ChoroQ (ChoroQ HG4). While it didn't have the sweet ass exploration aspect of Road Trip (HG2), it had the best racing model and best tracks. It's still a pretty close call though, because Road Trip's racing wasn't bad at all and the larger grids made for some pretty wild races.

All of 'em are a hell of a lot of fun and sadly underrated (especially Seek & Destroy and ChoroQ, both of which got slaughtered in reviews)

Meh, the PS1 titles are the best, especially 3. The current gen ones are garbage IMO.

With the adition of the 2 for the GBA and the 1 for the N64 that's about all I know of that's been released. Myself, I'm still looking for the Gamecube game as well as the N64 one. I'd like to get some of the import titles but those do not appear that often on many import game sites and when they do they tend to fetch a pretty penny.

I have all the US console releases except the Cube version of Road Trip. Does anyone know if it differs substantially from the PS2 version?

I really had no idea Seek & Destroy was part of the ChoroQ series!

I play imports too and have thought about picking up ChoroQ Park, but I'd be much more interested in finding ChoroQ games in which the vehicles have weapons and there's some sort of combat involved with the game.

Wikipedia seems to have a pretty complete list of the games....

    Spartacus,
The GC version of "Road Trip" is strictly racing. There are no adventure elements to be found. It is a seperate game entirely from the Ps2 title. I think it's worth a look.

I have Choro Q Park for the Saturn, but it's hard to figure out how to play it, even with the translation from GameFaqs to help with all the Japanese menus.

I am a HUGE fan of this series and have all of the games listed by the OP (but not any of the N64 or GBA versions, unfortunately).

In fact, I even reviewed Road Trip for DP. (Yes, shameless plug!)

And I also reviewed Choro Q for my own website (which I still haven't completed)

Here are the links to those reviews:

    - My Road Trip review right here on DP
    - My Choro Q Review

I'd love to see one of these games on the DS!
