Bwahaha. I've sort-of-wanted Keyboardmania for years. There are a few bad things about it:
1) You don't lose any of your "life meter" for hitting the keys at the wrong time. So it's very, very easy to mash your way through any song.
2) There are only 3 mixes. And 2nd & 3rd come on a single PS2 disc. And that was released back in 2002.
Plus, most of the best songs (this Castlevania medley, Klungkung 1655, Manhattan Sports Club, The Least 100 Seconds) have been shoehorned into DDR, IIDX and Pop'n.
Ah, nifty a Haunted Castle/Akdra medley. I think I have this in mp3 form somewhere on my pc, but the instrumentation was a bit different.
Is this because on this version the synth is generated by the keyboard?
