I can barely ever connect to a fucking game. It just keeps telling me the host is gone or the match is full. I've only been able to connect to one career race.
man, ive seen some crazy ass paint jobs. How the hell do people do such amazing designs? Do you really have to plot each layer, sort of pixel by pixel to make a great image? I wish you could just freehand paint on these things!
A friend of mine managed to buy a car last night with a pretty nice anime design, but the seller forgot to lock it on the car. He took the opportunity to look at how the design was made.
Apparently, the hood of the car (where the bulk of the work was done) consists of almost 400 layers. The artist had mostly used a wedge-shaped piece, stretched and adjusted in all different kinds of ways, to build up the image.
I've made a couple of designs, but I've never used more than about 8 or 9 layers on a side. I don't think I'd have the patience to put hundreds of layers on each side of the car. Plus, I'm not an artist, so there's no way I could make something that looks even remotely good.
As for the game itself, I've spent a lot of time playing it since I picked it up on Sunday. I'm trying to find time to play both this and Odin Sphere, but Forza's winning for the time being. I'm thinking about picking up the Microsoft steering wheel, but I'll probably wait a few days to see if I'm still as enthusiastic about the game before I spend that much on a controller.
This is what I'm sporting around the track.
Too about an hour, the flag was the biggest bitch making everything symetrical. And the outline on the letters of general lee just wasn't working out so I left it out. Still needs some work as my color disability keeps me from perfection.
Also needs less over steer. But atleast it gives me a reason to yell YEEEE HAWWW during a game.

I've got a question about this Nissan Fairlady Z unlock code you got with pre-orders. Is this car supposed to be available in the Career mode when you start out the game? I entered the code after I started playing the career mode but I don't see it in my garage. Is it only available in the other modes?
Yeah, I saw it on the car list for the arcade mode but it's not in my garage in Career. It's really not even that fast of a car, that's why I was thinking that maybe you could start your career with it. If that's the case, I'd just start over and do all my races with the Fairlady Z since I'm not that far in right now.
I've heard you have to buy it. Check the Nissan cars for sale.

Buying a gaming rig more expensive than a real sports car.... Priceless!
I've been playing Forza 2 non-stop for the past 3 weeks. At Level 33 now. Basically just playing Career mode right now and haven't even touched multiplayer yet.
How do the unlockables work? Will all the cars I unlock in Career be available when I'm racing on Live? I thought they would but I was messing around with Arcade mode the other day and noticed a bunch of cars can be unlocked in that mode too and I could have sworn a few I unlocked in Arcade were ones I already unlocked in Career.
And has anyone switched their home region mid-way thru their career? I'm thinking about switching from Asia to Europe but I don't want to do it if the 50% discount on production cars doesn't carry over.
So I got Just 1 question to ask you.
