The "Security Device Enclosed" sticker that's on the right side where the case opens? Goo Gone cleans them up nicely, I use Goo Gone on DVD style cases pretty frequently, after it gets off the gunk I use a damp cloth(with water) to take off the leftover Goo Gone residue and it's all clean when I'm done.

    ...

Great. The only store that sold Goo Gone in the area closed down a year ago and someone threw out my bottle without asking me.

Guess I'll have to order a bottle later.

Not finds but I have picked up 5 DS games, buying two yesterday and 3 today. Most of them are adaptations of TV game shows...

    At a rummage sale:

    Metroid Prime 3: Corruption (complete)
F-Zero GX (in box, no instructions)

    Both for $10

Lot of sales today, but aside from that one there was really nothing else interesting. I might check the local thrift if I have time today.
And don't bring up that stupid girlie Aladdin rip off! Shantea?

well, guess i'll go to the thrift store. don't see much, except for this inconspicuous box...

    oh

It has 19 coleco/adam games, three controllers, and the huge plug. Apparently a coleco system was also dropped off but I couldn't find it around anywhere. It was $10 for all.

$1. It's missing the battery cover and some of the stickers are peeling. Pretty neat, but I don't really have anywhere to put it.

    Default Yardsales 5-22-10

Sonic The Hedgehog (Complete, Sega Classic Version) - .50 (IAP)

Black GBA SP With 8 Games - $10 (IAP)

I found this stuff at a flea market type deal they do once a year while I was out yardsaling. R-Type is an import (Jap).

Where In Time Is Carmen Sandiego? (Genesis, Complete) - .25 (IAP)
Slam City With Scottie Pippen (Sega CD, Complete) - .25 (IAP)
    Genesis 6-Button Controller - .25 (IAP)
NES Cleaning Kit In Box - .50
Crash Bandicoot Wrath of Cortex (PS2 Complete, GH) - $2 (IAP)
PS1 Demo Disc In Case For Crash Bandicoot - Free
    Resident Evil Outbreak (PS2, Complete) - $2
    Saw (PS3, Complete) - $5 (IAP)
Diablo II Guide (Electronics Boutique SE Cover) - .50 (IAP)
PS2 Network Adaptor With Install Disc And Papers - $5
Bandai Electronics FL Frisky Tom With Plug - $1 (IAP)

A bunch of single finds from different sales except the Sega games which both came from the same place. NES Cleaning Kit, asked a buck took .50. RE Outbreak's IAP was $3.

I asked about games at one house and it sounded like it was going to be a Sega or an Atari or something but the guy only came back with Frisky Tom and Hard Drivin' Genesis cart so I don't know if he couldn't find it or decided he didn't really want to sell a system he found (at least cheap at his YS) but it was still a neat little find.

The PS2 adaptor I found late in the day in a shoe box with a fat PS2 with controllers, hookups, 2x memory cards & a multitap sitting around all day at $125. Said I was interested in the Network Adaptor and took my offer of $5.

    Ms. Pac-Man Wireless P&P - $2 (IAP)
    Hamtaro Ham-Hams Unite! - .25 (IAP)
    GameCube 251 Memory Card - .25 (IAP)

    Gameboy Color With 4 Games - $6

    Ms. Pac-Man
    Super Mario Bros. 3
    Tetris

    $2

First 3 items were all from the same sale. GBC stuff was $8 and I offered $5, agreed on $6.

When I asked about games at one sale the NES games were brought out. They had 7 and wanted $4 and I offered $2 to which the lady said no and instead of (possibly) countering said that they could just give them to a neighbor kid or something of the likes. I said I was only mostly interested in the 3 I got and she took $2 for them. The 4 games I didn't get were Astyanax, Monopoly, SMB & SMB/DH and the contacts on 1-2 of these games looked really bad.

N64 With Hookups (Power, RF), 1st Party Controller & Rumble Pak, Manuals, Book & 11 Games - $10 (IAP)

Asked about games and this was all brought out and offered for $10 which I took the little PS1 or PS2 steering wheel was marked .25 and I didn't say anything about being interested in it but the guy gave it to me as I was leaving.

Mail arrivals over the past couple days. Yesterday the copy of Chrono Trigger I bought from DP member Atari 5200 showed up...

Although the save was fine I replaced the battery and have been playing it since. Its been far too long.

Second arrived today from eBay, Sly Spy arcade board...

If I remember it ended up being like $22.00 shipped. Still need to make / buy a JAMMA extender.

I have a ton of stuff I picked up lately, including a large box of import consoles w/ games. I'll try tossing that together in pictures though.

    eBay:
Space Adventure Cobra (Sega CD, CIB) - $68
I finally got a copy at a decent price! Person that shipped it didn't use padding and the top hinge broke, though

    Salvation Army:
    Micro Machines V3 (R5!) (PSX, CIB) - $3
Ten Pin Alley GH (PSX, CIB) - $3
Putter Golf (PSX, CIB) - $3
Street Racquetball (PSX, CIB) - $3
Project Gotham Racing PH (Xbox, CIB) - $3
    SSX3 (PS2, CIB) - $3
World Series of Poker (Xbox, CIB) - $3

The Salvation Army stop was on the way to my other find for the day. I saw Micro Machines V3 in a locked case just as I was leaving and asked to get it. I had no clue it was an R5...awesome!

No pictures right now, but the reason behind the trip:

    NEW ARCADE CABINET!
My fiancee picked up a Centipede cab for $400. The guy was kind enough to deliver it and help me carry it up the 3 flights of stairs, so we gave him a router to hook up his consoles with and I gave him a copy of NCAA Football (that I promptly signed for him) so that he had something to play on his PS3. The cab is in very good condition with only minor things to fix. Very little monitor burn-in.

There are a ton of cabinets on sale on craigslist right now. I really want an R-Type cab, but the person selling it comes off as a complete asshole and I won't have any help dragging it up the stairs.
