I don't know what's causing it, all I know is that the video plays for 2 seconds before the video freezes. The audio still plays, though it pauses every few seconds which is annoying. I suspect that it's because his videos are too large because he wants everything to be DVD quality, I think one I tried to download was over 250MB, but since I only have 256MB of RAM I didn't bother to finish it. Several reviewers I've come across keep the free videos small but eventually offer a DVD that has everything in better quality, only Spoony doesn't do that. Screw Blip.tv.
Luckily, his review of Dragon Strike is still available on his youtube account so I can still watch it again.

It's not all Spoony's fault, Blip.tv makes all videos friggin' huge. The main reason why he doesn't post stuff on Youtube anymore is because they keep deleting his videos.
Another thing, he doesn't really do DVDs because the man breaks copyrights left and right. He knows that. He makes money out of his shirts and ads, though.
Well Spoony also offers the bite-sized versions. If people don't like the big ones, then use the small ones.
I like Spoony's videos more than anyone else's on the net. They're friggin hilarious and he reminds me alot of myself.
I blame him for using Blip.tv instead of Revver or some other video hosting site. I know why he doesn't use youtube anymore as I watched his videos regularly, it's partly because his videos got taken down along with other youtube problems, another reason is because he wanted to get paid for doing them and Blip pays a bit for videos(but so does Revver which actually works for me). I'm not going to buy a new PC just so I can watch his videos.
As for DVDs, AVGN had a ton of copyrighted stuff in his videos but simply edited them out for the DVDs. Another reviewer(I believe it was Happy Video Game Nerd) mentioned that he wanted to release DVDs of his show, so there are several people doing it. Maybe Spoony changed how he has his videos, but I remember him mentioning that he liked Blip because all his videos could be big screen with better quality, I just felt there was no need for it.
I think I tried those too, I don't think they worked for me either. What really bugged me is that I couldn't watch the end of Phantasmagoria 2, all the parts except the last one were posted on youtube. I know that's when he had problems so he wouldn't use youtube anymore, but it still bugged me that I couldn't watch the last part. I'll try again but I doubt it would work.
Blip >Revver
When I have a pay per click on his videos, I like to make sure they pay on time. Revver has a bad habit of not paying you when your video is popular and will only pay you 6,8, up to 12 months later.
Blip is good, I had no problems with it myself in IE7 and Firefox with a ton of plugins, if you do have issues with blip and email them about it they can help you to fix the issues, many it boils down to firewall aps and anti-virus things.
Besides youtube has a shitty cap, no way to make money, and the quality of a polished turd. The best way to get smaller versions is to go to his blip account directly and view the episode guide there.

My Gaming Collection (Now at Google Drive!)
I have his blip account in my RSS feedreader.
As for the videos, it's not easy for me either, Blip hates Mexico and i have to wait 20-40 minutes for an episode to download. I just start downloading it and go do something else (like lunch), so it's finished by the time I'm done. :P
My Gaming Collection (Now at Google Drive!)
I just went to Blip directly and found his Phantasmagoria review. I don't see any smaller size for videos, there's only normal and full screen. I selected to watch it as flash to see if that would make a difference, I then paused it and let it fully load. Same problems as always. I'm not sure why any anti-virus stuff would make a difference for video playback, it only happens with Blip and not any other video site. I even disabled Norton so there shouldn't be any reason for problems. I'm using a recent Firefox browser so I know it's not from that.
Though just knowing he's making more money by using Blip instead of another site just really makes me happy even though I can't watch any of them.
It must be something else then, though whenever I download large videos they seem to have problems playing for some reason. Like videos that are 10 minutes long but 100MB because of the high quality always play poorly on my PC. My processor is 800MHz
Well, yeah, 800 MHz is not particularly fast, unfortunately.
Your best bet would be Geexbox - if you don't mind rebooting every time you want to watch a video.
EDIT: Waitaminute, that things more than thirty minutes long ? Holy frak!

I'm glad to see the dude cranking these out at a pretty quick pace as of late. Can't go too long without a new AVGN.
Is it just me, or is he not as "angry" as he used to be? It seems like the latest Christmas episode was the last one where he really seemed "in character".
for those of us that dont spend 25 hours a day looking for videos online, could somebody put together a glossary of all the people that took part in the battle royal and provide links to their regular content?
These videos just remind me of how much I loved Heroquest. I had the original and an expansion pack. Nostalgia forced me to search ebay for it and I was *shocked* at how expensive they are.
I still have my complete copy of Heroquest.
Base Hero Quest isn't too bad, and the Kellar's Keep and Return of the Witch Lord expansions are cheap too, but yeah, those Elf or Barbarian ones are insane, $200 easily at least... the European-exclusive ones aren't cheap either, but even they aren't quite that expensive I think.
Awesome, awesome games though, as I said in my last post.
Ok the list is going to be rather long. Most people come from thatguywiththeglasses.com, but I felt like going the extra mile and
