Not bad writing, but for a game like this, I expect MORE. I don't get it. There's no payoff really, no detailed info about the items system, and frankly, I begin to wonder if games really have music at all. No one seems to think they do......

Whoop. I've been reading so many, I missed the music section. I do honestly think the music in LttP deserves a little more though. and I give it a 7/10. Sheesh. It's late!

I'll give it a 6. It covers most of the bases, but it just seems too informal. The language is a little unproffesional and the review too personal.
"And remember ladies: if it ain't tight, it ain't right!"

It's pretty disorganized, and shows a little TOO much enthusiasm, and could use a wee bit more detail. I'd really like some images, too.

Much like the Link's Awakening review, a reader who has never seen Zelda before will have no idea what this game is acutally like! (And considering that ALTTP differs significantly in some ways from other Zelda games, other readers may still be left scratching their heads.) If nothing else, the story can hardly be "now-familiar".
5/10
The reviewing did a good job at describing the different aspects of the game, but at times seemed a bit excessive. Also a good bit of the review would only make sense to someone who has already played the game or other zelda games. Some things aren't familiar to everyone.
6/10
Good job on hitting on the game aspects. Some of the wording I'd have dropped ("gayed it up"), but some of the wording I really liked ("It’s the standard “rescue princess/free countryside/stop evil ruler’s inter-dimensional gateway” plot")Also the review could stand a bit more information in some areas. Plus a few screen shots wouldn't hurt.
6/10

Reviewer assumes reader has played a Zelda game before. That's a no-no in my book. He doesn't tell you anything about what's going on other than walking around and talking to people.
Was the use of the phrase "Nintendo hasn't gayed it up" really necessary? Very juvenile and I'm taking one point for that alone. No number scores, not much explination of the quality of the game, and not very cohesive.

I'll give this one a 6/10.
Actually it reads quite well, though I can see where in a few places the very casual, loose tone might throw off readers (they might not think you're taking the review seriously, and therefore won't take you seriously). Could use a little more detail about the game's play itself, I think the writer may be assuming we know the game as well as he does. Good review that needs a wee bit of tweaking.
