Do you think they'll really make seven Oddworld games?

I was reading the Abe's Exxodus manual and it mentioned how it was a seven game series. Abe's Oddysee has been out nearly (if not) ten years or so, does anyone think it'll ever be finished? Or will it end up like Shenmue. I'm actually playing Munch's Oddysee for the Xbox which I finally bought last week and made me want to play the original two for the Playstation. So anyway there are four Oddworld games does anyone think they'll finish out the series?

I'm pretty sure it was always meant to be a five-part series, not a seven-part series. In any case, they've released four parts already, which leaves one left.

Of course, that fifth part, if you can still consider it to be a fifth part, won't be a video game, because Lorne Lanning took his money and got out of the video game business. Instead, he wants to make a MOVIE in the Oddworld universe now, and I think that's supposed to be the fifth part now.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. An Oddworld: Movie instead a game for the final chapter. Hopefully it turns out better than Tomb Raider or Mortal Kombat.

Stranger's Wrath didn't count as a part of the overarching series, so that leaves another part that still needs to be done.

Update: Still mad that Stranger's Wrath didn't do better. Good lord was that game the bee's knees.

From what I've read, Oddworld Inhabitants was created to fund a movie project in the first place.

Exoddus is not part of the main five titles either.
In the instruction booklet for Exoddus it says it is a bonus title and not one of the main 5 games that were planned to be made.

its like trying to make a great 2d game like prince of persia into a 3d game and...oh wait.
