Today, at an Entertainmart store, I picked up a bunch of Xbox games, all for $3.99 each:

    I-Ninja
    Manhunt
    Mafia
    Time Splitters 2
    Trophy Bass 2007
    Outlaw Golf: Holiday Golf
Blinx 2: Masters of Time and Space
    Colin Mcrae Rally 3
    Commandos 2: Men of Courage
    BMX XXX
    Goblin Commander
    Greg Hastings' Tournament Paintball
    Advent Rising

Nice, cheap way of filling in my collection. After my brother's divorce, he lost some of the games I loaned him, so I'm only around 250 or so Xbox games now. His ex-wife probably sold off the ones he couldn't clear out in time, like she did with most of his other possessions that he had to leave behind (and some of my stuff that he borrowed from me, along with some of my late father's tools, that worthless whore).

My local Wal-Mart currently has some games on sale for $10 each and I picked up one of them yesterday...

Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection

This was the only copy they had of this title...got it for PS2.

I like those deals they got going. I got SNK Arcade Classics Volume 1 for the PS2 for the same price. Let me know if that pinball is any good.

I received my copy of Legacy of Ys: Books I & II (DS) from Amazon two days ago. Probably the last time I preorder from them (unless the item has a really cool bonus) as their pre-order shipping has started to suck (agreeing with other people on this page's experience).

    Today:

Found Sega's Virtua Fighter (original) for PC at Goodwill for $1. The disc is in great shape and it comes in a jewel case with the booklet. Picked it up only because there was nothing else in the store and I didn't feel like leaving empty handed.

Not sure that it has any actual value but I seem to remember one or two people here saying they wanted to get ahold of the first Virtua Fighter for PC. If somebody has been looking to get ahold of this for any reason, I'd be happy to do a simple trade.

Otherwise I am sure it will sit around collecting dust on my shelf. If someone wants a pic or two, I may have a chance when I get home.

Stupid to do a Buy/Sell thread for a single item like that, so here is the offer right in my Finds post.

Regarding Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection, I didn't buy it the first day I saw it (though I was tempted). I did a search here and found many people liked it so I decided to go back and get it. I tried each of the different tables last night...I don't have a favorite table yet but I do like the game and it's certainly worth what I paid for it. So I would recommend it, though I'm not the expert here on pinball video games...

It's the name of a publisher from Brazil, iirc.

Anyway, I haven't obtained much lately. I did just win a completely-complete copy of Deep Fear for the Saturn, though. Nobody else placed a bid, so I got it for a dollar.
    In Heaven, everything is fine.

    Pretty good finds today.

First was a craigslist deal. For $30 and turok and F1 from the sear's clearance, I got:

    PS1
    Mega Man Legends (disc only)
Mega Man Legends 2 (disc only)
Parasite Eve II (disc only) How many discs does this have? I got two with it.
    Metal Gear Solid (complete)
    Legend of Dragoon (complete, GH)

    PS2
Simpson's Road Rage (disc only, GH)
    Kingdom Hearts (disc only, GH)
    Kingdom Hearts II (disc only)
    Bujingai (disc only)
Star Ocean Til The End of Time (disc one only) How many discs is this supposed to have?
    Armored Core 3 (disc only)
Hitman Blood Money (complete, except he forgot to add in the actual game, just the kayne and lynch preview >_>)
Rogue Galaxy (complete, comes with two manuals oddly)
    Shining Force EXA (complete)

    PS3
untold legends dark kingdom (game + manual)

Not a horrible deal, and I got a lot of games I actually want to play.

Then, I went over to sear's I've never been to before, and found:

    WII
    Batallion Wars II - $4.97

    PS3
    Armored Core 4 - $4.97

    GBA
    Pokemon Emerald - $4.97
    Pong/Asteroids/Yar's Revenge - $0.97

    Not a bad day.

I dropped by a place called Buybacks and happened upon a copy of Dual Hearts for PS2. I had heard that it had one of the lowest print runs of any Atlus game but a quick scan of Ebay shows a decent amount available. Still, it was only $20 and I had wanted to add to my collection for some time now.

At work I snagged a Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess trucker hat that had gotten pennied out and a Halo Wars T-Shirt for pre-ordering the game.

I saw a lot of that myself last night. They had an American Girl game for DS priced at $54 and Resident Evil: Code Veronica on Gamecube for $74. There were a lot of titles that had prices on them that just perplexed me. I had a friend who worked there when they first opened and she told me that they go by Amazon pricing or something to that effect. Seems a bit skewed to me since anyone can throw up a game on Amazon and charge whatever they want for it; that doesn't mean it's a reasonable price or something one should use as a determination for it's value.

Wacky as their prices are, nothing beats the $200 Final Fantasy VII I spied in a Half-Price Books on the other end of town not too long ago.
