    Default WonderSwan Color or Crystal?

Which one is better, as far as durability is concerned?

Also, Is the video Quality REALLY that different?

If I'm not mistaken the difference is the Wonderswan Crystal has a bigger screen and 4-channel stereo sound.

Crystal games will play on Color systems, but supposedly they look better on a Crystal.

SwanCrystal also uses TFT-LCD... Don't quite know what that means, but It sounds better. I just think the SwanCrystal's Plastic Shell looks a little cheep (especially on the Blue one)

A TFT screen is sharper IIRC.

If you get the option and they're the same price, then go with the crystal, but, if there's a large price gap, I would go with the color.

yeah if you find a cheap wonderswan crystal do yourself a favor and pick it up, but usually there is a price gap, i got a WS color brand new from TRU about 3 months ago, and i saved up and now i have a crystal on my way

I bought a Wonderswan Color, but the screen was too blurry to play action games on. The Swancrystal is much nicer, especially if there's a lot of action going on (like in Judgement Silversword). It's easier to see in normal lighting, too. I always had to set up a special light source to play the Wonderswan Color. To be honest, I wouldn't bother with the Wonderswan Color, the Swancrystal really is the way to go. If you can't afford the Swancrystal, wait until you can. They seem to go for 30 or 40 bucks these days.

I've only seen the Crystal for 58. That Final Fantasy set is damn purty though...

Have you tried e-bay? That's where I got mine. Boxed, brand new.

Yeah...I was so tempted to get one of these. But should I wait and get a Crystal instead?

The Wonderswan Crystal actually has a slightly smaller screen, but the difference in picture quality really is profound--go with the crystal.

On the issue of quality... Both systems do feel a little cheesy (sub-grade plastic and construction when compared to something like an SP), but, (especially the crystal) they are so light weight and small that they would seem to lack sufficeint mass to fall very hard. All in all the WS is adequetly durable, small and tough enough to take along in you pocket.
