If it's not one thing, it's another! A couple of hours ago I composed a witty and exciting post about how my new copy of Vib Ribbon, ordered about 12 hours after the NJ Classic event last weekend, had arrived tonight and I couldn't wait to paly it. Before hitting Submit, I think I hit Preview to look it over and make sure I'd crossed the t's and dotted the i's.
WELL, I can't find any sign of my post anywhere now, so I'm guessing I hit Preview, and then NEVER HIT SUBMIT. D'Oh!!!!
Well, in a nutshell, the game was mesmerizing last weekend. See this pic for the results of the game in a room full of videogamers:
At any rate, I was hooked like a weak-willed junkie after trying the game out last Saturday night. And of course I was online Sunday morning, ordering my own copy of this delight at around 12:30 Sunday afternoon.
The game showed up tonight, and I just played it for about 45 minutes.
Initially I tried it with Bruce Hornsby - Hot House in the CD drive. WOW, did I suck! After a couple of humiliating attempts at that, I put the original game disc back in and got a little confidence back.
Eventually I decided I wanted to see if I can scrounge up some translated (english) directions online, and I stopped here on the way.
The game is very cool, and is available new at http://shop.himeya.com for $33, shipping included. I'm not a paid employee, just a satisfied customer.
BTW, have any of you found any particular music that isn't very difficult to play to on this game?
