I have a SW'ed Wizard of Wor Board game, (trade negotiable) and from the art on the back of the box, it looks like there's rubber bands needed. The ones in in th box are no doubt petrified or dust by now.

The moral is, don't **** with Uncle Tim when he's been drinking!
My wife and her cousin bought me the Zaxxon game at a goodwill once since they saw it and thought I'd like it.
I still want the Rockman version of Settlers of Catan. That would be an A title

I used to have this one, had never seen another copy until I came across this listing today... I'd like to have it again.

y-bot, this is awesome !!!! Do you think I could borrow the pic from your Pac-Land ? (I'll of course credit you on the site).
How does the 'Time Lock the Invaders' work ? Do you have to assemble them before a time limit ?
scooterb23, this is also great, I knew about three other Ideal games, but not this one !.. I wonder how many they published...
Yes, you can use the pics. The Invader game doesn't work or I can't figure it out. Each Invader is two seperate pieces and imagine you have to put them together before the timer runs out. The platform they sit on pops up about 1".

I suspect the "invader" game is a ripoff of super perfection, where you have to build them before the timer ends, when it does the internal thing ejects and they go flying, god that game was frustrating ;-)
Gods I love this stuff...

Got any obscure game stuff?
Out of all of those games, Doom and its expansion are the only ones worth playing. Surprisingly, it kind of plays like the actual game and support things like death matches. Also, theres another Double Dragon game
Heres a link to it

How would Simcity the card game be counted? I actually have four or five of the others. Myst, Pac-man, frogger, Tetris
Here are some better photos of the Gradius board game, including the back of the box and the contents. I got 'em off Yahoo Japan Auctions about six years ago.
nice article
Not sure about this one :"Arcademania"...not using actual real arcade name but more generic title
Oh eBay! you are such a pain, I am addicted to you like crack cocaine. You offer things I cannot find in stores,You are the pimp, and we are all your whores.
Here's a very neat Mario Don't Worry' board game. I want, but Euro 40, that's almost $63:

I never owned any of these as a kid myself, unfortunately. Back then, I didn't really even know they existed somehow. My friend did have a Donkey Kong board game, though, which we attempted to play once when we were in fifth grade or so. We wound up using the plastic Kong to throw little barrels at our little Mario figures, and not much else. I remember wondering why, if I wanted to play Donkey Kong, I wouldn't just play the game.
Today, these games seem really cool to me, especially the Pac-Man games. I don't know if it's nostalgia, or a fascination with their relative obscurity (or possibly board games themselves; I've found myself being more interested with ones I missed lately, and I've always loved those mechanical games), but I think they're cool.
But I'm weird.

I can't believe how many board games they're are related to video games. Some of those I wouldn't mind owning.
Tamagotchi is incredibly cheaply made.
Pretty fitting considering the source material, now that I think of it.
