Thought this was interesting. This is an altered cart that makes the motorcycle levels playable, the translation in English, new moves for Shiva, among other things. Only 14 hours left.

These are professionally manufactured carts using all new components and come straight from the plant. I paid for the entire thing out of my own pocket so that people could enjoy this on real hardware.
Yep, I'm an SoR fanboy.
Did you pay royalties to the translators and hackers too?
Hell, did you even ask for permission?
(Are you serious about being the guy who made that cart?)

According to that auction the cart doesn't physically fit well inside most systems and you basically need a Game Genie to play it. How professional are these?
Where did these new levels and moves come from? Were these just locked in regular carts or were they somehow inserted in from another source? I've heard of Bare Knuckle III being better than the US version but I never heard about there being lost levels or extras being cut from the released game.
Oh, that's old news.

That was the result of a last minute miscommunication. They were supposed to be produced in Japanese style shells but were put in those instead. Clone systems rule the roost in countries where 8/16 bit games are still being produced, and only a minute fraction of people in those areas are using an original 20 year old piece of hardware. Those particular cart shells will fit in any of the dozens of GOAC clones.
