72-in-1 multicart, $2. This has a funny story behind it. One booth owner had this, and a famiclone thing (no wires or pads included) for sale for $30. Too much for a famiclone without anything, so I left it. A week later, he had it down to $8. I left it behind again.

But THIS week, the guy was gone, but an employee of his was there, so I grabbed the cart alone and asked for the price. $2. Hee hee. :)

Why does the cart say 72+51?

Probably different game modes.

My find today :

A pawn shop 1min walking from work!
Haven't been inside yet, going on my lunchbreak tomorrow :)
A rarity in my area...in my country even :P
And I won a bnch of stuff on some auction sites, but no great deals.

I did find a site that had some interresting finds, like Action 52 for 25$, not great bit still nice. And a lot of R6 and R7 games. But they only ship to the US :(
Oh well, the shipping would kill the deals anyway...

Probably different game modes.

Yes, I believe that it's 51 games, some of which have variants. There's six Bombermans, two Super Mario 1s, and lots more.

Arcus Odyssey (Gen)
Virtua Fighter 2 (Gen)

$40, junk shop.

Will be off asking questions in the tech forum in a few. *laughs* The guy in the shop tried to get me to take a non-working Gamecube with me to see if I could fix it, but I've only been in there twice and didn't feel right about it.

I found a NES that doesn't work today... it is a first for me. It powers on, is pretty easy to get not to flash, but all that happens is a grey screen. Came w/ 2 controllers, Max controller, SMB, RF and AC for $6, so I'm not too bummed. The 72 pin is pretty good actually, so I might use it .

Also picked up TeleroBoxer and Mario Tennis for VB for 1.30... mostly cause I've never seen VB games in the wild before. Oh, and because they have the pin covers, and I need more of them.

Hellvin: Wow! A NES Test cart for $2! I can't believe it.. I'I should move to your area! LOL

NES_Rules: It's odd that you would buy a sealed DC Web Browser 2.0, because I bought one for 11 cents a couple weeks ago.

Kuros: Wow, Another 360 for cheap! How did you get a 360 for that cheap, Especially considering the games that came with it? (P.S. - Enjoy oblivion)

Okay. Today was a bit of a let down, oh well.

I went over to the Video Game Heaven place to find a few idiots behind the counter talking about their "careers" and making it big some day. One of my friends worked at the place a few years ago and said it blew chunks with pay and the owners know only one pricing method: eBay. So anyhow, I looked at their games and all were overpriced even above eBay stanards for some reason. It didn't take long to wonder over the PS section and decided it was time to leave when I saw Final Fantasy 7 greatest hits used for $100...

So now I drive up the road to the Cash Converters to find nothing but empty game bins and lame current generation sports titles. Looked as though they might have had games earlier today and just got cleared out because there was one bin with a bunch of sports Game Gear titles that weren't there last visit. Then I went up to the counter and apparently they did get a dump of PSX titles and selling them for $2 each, too bad out of the huge bunch only the Atari and Activision collections stood out, which I already own the Atari collection on both SNES and Saturn and Activision is on my PS2.

It was now getting near time to get off to work so I decided to go a few doors down to Game Stop and see if they restocked anything for the discount days and they did! Nothing I was too interested in and ended up not seeing any anime DVDs at all like over the weekend at another location. I was a bit disappointed in that but I'll continue going to other locations hunting down discounted animes. However, looking over their PC game section I saw something was discounted, and by 50%! I had my eyes on the game for the past year or so but just never pulled the effort in to purchase it... Cossacks II: Napoleonic Wars.

So yes, I just bought myself a brand new copy of Cossacks II for $10! I loved the complete Cossacks collection (3 game pack: European Wars, The Art of War and Back to War) I got about 4 or 5 years ago from GS for $20 new. It was amazing to see they had at least 3 more sealed copies in their drawer. Of course I'm still at work so I haven't had the chance to run it yet but boy I can't wait. I suggest anyone who has $10 to spend and their computer is in running order (this game was made in 2004) to head up to their locality and pick it up.

.... Oh my god. I feel like I just wrote a blog entry....

I got it at a garage sale and when I asked the guy what he wanted for it he looked puzzled so I offered 50 cents and then he said 10 cents. So it confused me a little, but I got it for 10 cents.

I love it when I meet people like that. About a month ago I bought a system lot wich included a Saturn, An R Zone, And most notably A N64 with the expansion pack and Zelda Majora's mask. I offered $7, He said that I could take it all for $5! That made my day. (Yes, I thanked him for the low price :) )

Flea:...Small amount of vendors today..

The first thing I did was find the lady who sells misc RC cars(ran by all my friend vendors)
The Echo Knight Trakk Vehicle I bought the week before had the wrong remote($5.00)
It was my fault that day as I was focused only on the big remote in the box as it can be used with other RC vehicles..I just wanted to buy the remote but the Echo Knight Trakk Vehicle was being sold with it for $5.00 was a good deal as I was willing to pay $5 for the remote alone.
So I find the vendor and she has the vehicle that goes with the remote I got last week,..Plus the correct remote for my Echo Knight Trakk Vehicle and a Battery and Charger.
$3.00
So I got two working RC vehicles for $8.00 now..

Below: I only buy what I will sell and for my own collection...Most of what I bought today is for my own collection..

I hit up the first half of a community garage sale today and picked up Pikmin (Gamecube) for $5. We're going to head back for the rest of the sale tomorrow, so hopefully it'll be fruitful.

At Goodwill on the way home I did pick up a bunch of Turbografx and Turbografx/Duo CD games for $3.00 a pop. All complete except where noted:

Hucards
Dungeon Explorer
Galaga '90
Dragon's Curse
Alien Crush
Neutopia II

CD games
Ys Book I & II
Exile
The Addams Family
Dungeon Explorer II (no manual)

I haven't found any TG16 stuff in years so this was a nice treat. Actually I sold my TG16 collection off to buy a Dreamcast at launch back in '99. :)

All the games were mixed in with the CDs. They had two beat up Turbosticks but no system saddly. I've been wanting to play Ys for a long time now so this was a pretty awesome find. I left behind Keith Courage, and a Baseball and Volleyball game.

Bought a power inverter for the car.. I'll be able to test games on the go now :)

Passed on an xbox 360 with some games, A wireless mic, And a spare controller for $500.

Passed on two overpriced N64 Sports games..

Passed on some PS2 games for $4 each.. (I may have bought vice city if it wasn't scratched)

http://www.pmode4.com/downloads/IMG_1321.jpg

GMR magazines: 10 cents each, all in great shape
Sonic CD: SEALED with original Kohls sticker $5
SNES Samurai Showdown (no label): $1

Non game related, but I was also able to get a Chinon 2500gl variable speed dual 8 projector. Now I've got a better chance of making non-flickering (or at least reduced flicker) movie-to-video transfers. $10 and working!

I went to a nearby saver's today and holy !@#$ did they have a lot of stuff....saturn with everything for 10 bucks, xbox for 30, n64 with a ton of crap for 15 some other guy got, and lots and lots of games for all the systems including some random colecovision games. I didn't have a lot of cash on me so the only things I got were:

Sega Saturn - Megaman 8 (complete)

Game & Watch - Octopus w/ Box & Manual

The G&W doesn't work and I don't know if replacing the batteries is gonna fix it sadly. I would have picked up the xbox to softmod another one, but I didn't have the cash and no clue if it even worked or not. I'm thinking of going back for the 10 dollar saturn with cables and a couple controllers though...

The vendor has a ton of these..I bought one for my Father in law $25.00..Picked out a good box.
I get it home and it doesn't work..
I took it apart and fixed the arm to pull the reels but something electronic is burnt out..It still works as a bank but the slot winner side doesn't.
I'm going to give it to my father in law with the explanation(as he can still play it) of it's problem..I'll buy him another one but I will test it right in front of the guy when I buy it.

Everything I saw that was game related today was overpriced but did find some various Nintendo toys from various fast food places.

Not really a find, but I won a cool guitar hero shirt for winning a tournament at Play'N'Trade today. It came with a $50 dollar gift card, but I have yet to spend that.

I stopped off at a thrift really quickly on my way somewhere, and came away with a couple Tiger Electronics LCD handhelds (Street Fighter II and Bowling), Q*Bert for the 2600 (loose), Out Of Gas for the Gameboy (loose), ATV Rally for Mac/Windows, and the real winner - a huge poseable version of that mechano-squid machine flying thing from the Matrix movies, with it's stand. Altogether it cost me something like $17.

Good day for me! All these PS1 games for a grand total of $33.01. All games are complete with exception of one:

FF7 GH, no booklet
FF8
Breath of Fire III
Mega Man X4
Xenogears
Azure Dreams
The Legend of Dragoon GH
Legend of Legaia
Resident Evil Directors Cut GH
The Chessmaster 3D
Jade Cocoon: Story of the Tamamayu

I love my local pawn shops, games where originally listed for $5 each but one of the guys behind the counter offered them to me at $3 each, how could I refuse? Don't know where the penny came from, but oh well.

I also got a large lot of atari stuff and games. To include 1 2600 vader and 2 5200s. Lots of controllers and games. mostly first party atari 5200 games but a few others. Overall a great lot. I am super happy with it all. The spare working duo without cords is up for trade.

I picked up Oddworld Stranger's Wrath at Sears for $9.99. Been wanting this one for a long time, just been holding out for that inevitable drop. I heard it was a great game, albeit being mostly ignored by the masses. I played it tonight and it is really cool. If anyone hasn't played it here, I highly recommend checking it out. There were a few more games in the $10 - 15 range that I passed on. My Sears had both Viewtiful Joe games for the Cube and Mega Man X Collection for the PS2. They also had Taito Legends which I've been wanting to try but since I blew a fat wad on some new threads I just went home with Oddworld. Good luck out there and happy hunting to all!

I picked up a few items at the local Goodwills today. I got 6 Atari 2600 games for a buck a shot (Turmoil, HomeRun, Centipide, Outlaw, Video Chess and Basic Math), Might and Magic for the Genesis (came with case and booklet) for four dollars (had to talk the lady down from ten dollars, she was ruthless), Metal Gear for the PS1 for two dollars, and at my last stop of the day I found a perfect copy of Star Control for the Genesis. It was unmarked so the lady at the counter gave it to me for two dollars.

From a local Goodwill:

Daytona USA: Championship Circuit Edition (Saturn, complete) - $4
Race Drivin' (SNES, loose) - $2
Tetris 2 (SNES, loose) - $2

Judging by this (and the fact that Genesis sports games are plentiful, no matter when you visit), this store seems to be one of the last shopgoodwill.com holdouts.

Not too much today. G.I. Joe: Cobra Strike and Coconuts for the Atari 2600, $1.91 each. And an old Pac-Man handheld LCD game by a company called "Micro Games of America" for $1.98.

I decided to slum it and go into a GameStop, and bought Futurama for the Xbox for $19.99 used, and Raze's Hell for the Xbox used for $4.99.

Two Intellivisions, 120 games, about forty boxes and some of the paperwork for $100. But only half of the games are unique.

Someone please let me know if it isn't as good a deal as I might think. Vintage games aren't exactly my speciality.

It would depend some on the games but it should be. There's a good chance there might be some gems. pics or maybe a list?

From looking at your list these last two were the only ones I know off hand that are uncommon, defenitely not rare though. I think there were a few others that are or almost are in the range of those two.
