I beg your forgiveness in advance if I am posting a redundant topic and/or if this is in the wrong forum. I am new to the Roundtable and I'm still learning the ropes of interaction, which are vastly different from my home forums.
That said, I have read the FAQ and relevant information in regard to writing reviews for games, systems, and products, and I still have unanswered questions.
For one, is anyone allowed to submit a review? I noted on several occasions the author would referece "us staffers," which prompts me to ask.
Second, I do not use emulation and I do not have the proper hardware to "read" cartridges and upload the ROM to my computer. Are photos of the game in action (to put it horrifyingly bluntly, taking pictures of a television screen) allowable, or do they need to be actual ROM-based images?
Finally, is there a limit to the number of reviews one may submit? There are many games for which I would be interested in writing reviews, but, presuming I am allowed to do so, would I need to space out submissions over a period of time? I am a regular contributor at metal-archives.com, so I am familiar with how clogged the submission queue can become.
I appreciate any help anyone may be able to offer.
