I know i know there are bot to many fans of this out there bust for some reason i was in my vault of games and i came across my bust a grooooooove. and yes from that moment on my world became fuzzy and i had flashbacks of kicking a$$ in this game. and then i realized it wasnt a flshback just dust in my eyes from years of sitting. but anyway i just want to know does anyone have any news on a remake or a re-release on a collection disk of any kind or by geaorge a new version? if not this is just to see if there are people that play this game. i would love a new online version.....get the hell out of here....(die hard the game) rules

Believe it or not this now belongs in "classic" gaming. Damn I'm old.

We talking the dancing game or the bubble game?

Dancing game had two sequels that I know of - a PS1 and a PS2.

The bubbles has had about 20 versions on every platform.

Nope. The series is dead.

SCEA never promoted them all that well and though Dance Summit 2001 was touted as getting a US release it never happened. The closest thing we ever got was Unison.

Enix killed the series in japan as well, and I'm sure the merger with square didn't help it any. It's a shame because it still stands as one of my favorite series in all of rhythm gaming. If you're looking for a similar experience, Britney's Dance Beat was developed by Metro (who made BAM/BAG 1 & 2), and there's a game called Audition, which is basically the same idea, available on PC as an MMO Dance Game and on PSP in Japan/Korea. Check out play-asia if you're interested in it.
