Sega Saturn lid problem

I currently own 2 Sega Saturns. However, one of them has a CD lid that doesn't open correctly. (To open it, I have to hold the "OPEN" button and either flip the console over quickly or gently pry it open with a nail on one of my fingers.) However, while looking at the parts of the lid, I noticed that the piece of metal that moves to open up the lid was missing. So, what should I do? Would it be possible to replace the missing metal part?

I recently restored a saturn with a similar problem but the part wasnt missing I just needed to adjust it a bit and now it works great. The parts I did need I just used from dead saturns usually repair shops will sell parts so hit one of them up thats what I did

I have 3 Saturns, 2 have an issue opening and closing. Ijust keep buying more at yard sales.
