This had to happen today. Just today.
So I listed this (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=320160155279) last night. I figured no foreigners would bid on it. The auction information says "Ships to: United States". But somehow, a German buyer bought it.
(I just noticed eBay's stupid selling form unchecked the "block buyers from countries I don't ship to from bidding" option.)
So I lost around ten bucks in fees because he bought it. I already sent him a message saying that I can't ship this item to him because the auction says I only ship to the USA, and because he's in Germany and the item cannot be tracked (unless he pays like 100 bucks, since the package weighs close to ten pounds.)
What can I do in this case? I'm not sending this item to Germany. If it gets lost, I'd stand to lose hundreds of dollars. :(
