Hi all,
My daughter has wanted several things for Christmas. Chief among those items was a Mario Party for the DS and a Wii. Up until now Vectrex has been the kind of the house, followed closely by Nintendo 64 and an XBOX that was free from a friend. The only reason the M$ console snuck into the house was under the guise of exercise (DDR).
So I stopped by GameStop (Serramonte Mall in Daly City, CA) again this week, on a lark of all things. Checked on the MP for DS and what do you know??? Wii's in stock!!. M.P.'s in stock as well! They were even nice enough to break some out 30 minutes early for me. I think the fact I was there on a break from work and in full motorcycle gear with the laptop bag on my back had something to do with the GameStop employees taking pity on me. There was a queue of people in the store waiting for the magic time of 4:30 PM to break into the fresh stock that just arrived at the store. Thank you very much GameStop!
So with all the good lock that day my brain woke up and Alexa will now be getting a Wii for Xmas. I went ahead and bought another controller in the form of the Wii play package, plus another nunchuck. Pretty much your basic setup.
Now what? What is the best game of a seven year old you people can recommend? Or rather the best three games. Alexa won't be getting them for Xmas but I can guess she will be getting some more soon. Like in January. It's her birthday month.
Taking suggestions for games and hardware. I will consider all platform gems for the Wii as long as the title is not adult themed. Every platform has their killer game but no killing for Alexa right now. She will have time for that later in life.
Merry Christmas to all the DP Crowd too. I am a little light on the content in between CG Expos but I do lurk a lot. DP people are a great crowd with a lot of good advice.
