This is just a little heads up that NWCGE will be doing the classic video game room at Sakura Con this year in Seattle(Anime Convention, but it has everything). If anyone is going, we will have a humble display of game systems up and running for anyone attending. Pictures will follow come Sunday.

Udate: While the show is still going on, I have uploaded pics of the convention and focused on video game related images(most part). Overall the show was very well organized and I was very happy to have went. There was A TON of free video game related stuff to play at the show. There was:
A microsoft dedicated room that had a bunch of 360 games up to play. Call of Duty 4, Gears, heck even Lost Odyssey was up for people to come and play. Very nice HD TVs included.
Rock Band room was packed(dedicated to the game) In a small narrow room, there was a ton of TVs to come and play the stuff.
There was some HUGE room with Super Smash Bros tourney. The entire room, which was the biggest for the video game related rooms, was focused on that one game. It was pretty packed, and was full of focused gamers!
Then comes our small and humble room, dedicated to video games classic. I enjoyed being part of the experience. We had 12 standard but very nice JVC TVs showcasing videogames Atari to Dreamcast. The offical video game systems were 2 N64s, 1 Dreamcast, 1 CDX, 1 Saturn, 1 3DO, 2 Supernes, 2NES, 1 Twin FC, and 1 Atari 2600. We also had a Vectrex there, which actually got some good play from some older people. Surprise of the event: A very young boy not only asking for Atari games, but enjoying them a ton! We had hundreds of games for people to play, and look forward to having an even better show next year!

'Twas a good event. I still wish that there had been more game dealers in the exhibitor hall, but I did snag quite a few nice finds at the con. The classic gaming room was pretty cool, especially since it let me find out about Jet City Retro. Can't wait for that!
