I got this ad from one of my mid 90's magazines...
Does this thing really made it into the market?....It supposed to be a networked multi-cartridge dock(Rack&Stack,Jack),that allows you to switch between 1 and 6 cartridges...Advertised at only $49.99(1994)....According to the ad,they were also made for the SNES and Atari Jaguar, supposedly distributed by Babbages and EB software stores....In my long gamer years I've never seen one.

Looks a lot like the hotel systems that used to play Super NES and then N64 games. Name doesn't come to mind.

Seems like this is for the very lazy only. What's the point?

I remember seeing these advertised a long time ago. IIRC, there was a deluxe version with a remote and a basic version without. I also believe you could hook them into one another and choose from 6/12/18 games.
That being said, whether these ever saw the light of day, I have no idea. I only saw a few ads.

For what it's worth, I don't believe this was ever released. As a serious Genesis collector (quick credentials: I own a complete boxed collection, Outback Joey, Blockbuster Competition Cart, Edge 16 modem prototype, XBand keyboard prototype, etc.) I've been hunting this thing down for nigh on 15 years without so much as a sniff of a real lead.
I hope that I'm wrong because this would be a very nice Genesis surprise, haven't had one of those in awhile.
Side note: I'm not the only one here who has a Genesis multi-game selector, however. It's not a retail piece, it's something that was used at trade shows and in store kiosks. I had this on display in the store's first year mini-museum.

I remember seeing pictures of a similar device for the MD a long time ago. Although the one I saw sat on top of the Megadrive and held the carts vertically. I'm sure there was also one for the NES. You selected games via a red button under each cart. These were definitely consumer products, not store display units.
