... tomorrow. Our favorite (or not) 32-bit system is now a teenager! (though the JP model has been one for a while now).

Think I'm gonna fire me up some Saturn action tomorrow. Maybe a little Sega Rally, topped off with some Souky or SF Zero 3 rather

Post your Saturn memories (or/and rants) here

I love the Saturn; comes in second for me behind the Genesis.

Was working at TRU in '95 when a surprise (well to me at least) shipment of Saturn arrived. Me and the guys went nuts. The guy running the videogame section snagged one on the spot, hooked it up to the TV in the break room and we fired up Virtua Fighter and Daytona. Good times.

A year later, I bought one in '96 after purchasing an issue of GameFan with Guardian Heroes on the cover. Their write up on the game convinced me that I had to have one. Never regretted it, and it still sees regular use here to this day.

Ah, and the Dreamcast had its birthday not so long ago too.

There's something about release dates.

I can help you with the controller, but I am looking for some games myself. I do have extras of some Japanese Saturn fighters if you are interested.

I always wonder what Shenmue would have been like on it...

Not as good as it was on DC! But still great

Coincidentally, I unearthed about 20 or so Saturn games at a yard sale and lately I've been playing that bad boy like it just came out last week. Well, I know it will always be more reliable than the 360.

Wow, 13 years. Well, not that amazing. Is it "old school" yet? I hear so many youngsters talking about their old school N64. It's actually odd how dry the local Saturn market has become over the past year or two.

I have played one saturn game and that would be NiGHTS. With the controller too. It was pretty awesome.

Its real birthday is September 2. I refuse to acknowledge the early release!

Definitely one of my favorite systems, though. I got one at the end of 1995 and had a blast with it for the next few years. Right after I beat Magic Knight Rayearth, I sold it for a PSX. Fuck you, Bernie Stolar.
