Before I forget - anyone looking for the PDF DVD (http://www.thelogbook.com/phosphor/pdf-dvd/) at TMG needs to swing by the Next Level booth. They'll have 'em well stocked and at the usual cheaper-than-if-you-order-it-from-my-site show price, too!

Unfortunately, I won't make this one. I know that breaks everyone's heart. I had been planning on attending, but instead will be spending the day with my grandkids. I have been working on them, but I don't think that at 2 and 3 years old they are quite ready to handle a convention. Although, I do remember Chickybaby having Bean in the playpen last year.

Anyways, who all will be there? Anyone have time for a get together or something? I'd like to finally meet Mr. Sotenga.
Ryan, mah boi, it would be an honor likewise! ^_^
I'll be there for the first (non-registered) hour of the convention from 11 to 12, then I'll head out for lunch with my family, then return... likely around 2. I'll stay there from at least the end of my panel at 4:15, probably for even longer.
Holy hell, I'm anxious to see how the panel goes. I just wish my acne weren't starting to flare up again. +_x
Oh, and Jimmy, your grandkids are more important, so don't sweat it. :)

So i went today/yesterday and i have to say i was rather disappointed. the first one earlier this year was really fun and i had a great time. i enjoyed playing the retro machines and learning about stuff i didn't even know exist the first time around. today thou it was just like not as involved as it was last time. it definitly was cramped last time and this time around it was nice to get around booth to booth. i didn't see many of the people from the last one come to this one either which i was kinda dissapointed about. my only other comment i have to make is sellers pulling prices out of the air. they should have to have some kind of price system where anybody can clearly see what the price is of what they are selling. i was at one stand and i seen two rather common sega genesis titles that i don't have still and i asked how much they were. he literlay looked at them and paused for a moment and said 50 for both. i found them elsewhere for 3 and 6 dollars respectivly. i know some sellers want what they want for there merchandise and i respect that but when your pulling fugures out of the air its dishearting to say the least. all in all in was a nice trip out to go do something that i love doing. but its wasn't nearly as fun as it was earlier this year.

I thought it was a damn good time, even though it did feel a little less riveting than the previous one, and it's a shame the fanels were a bust. However, I did get two super-rare games that I've been hunting for for a while, so I am incredibly pleased. I hope we draw more people to next year's thing, though. If this gets big enough, we'll have enough tables to extend to the very back of the parking structures! :-D
In regards to the two aforementioned video games, my eternal thanks to Next Level Videogames and Mad Gear LLC for selling them to me. :rocker:

Obviously, on the off chance anyone went looking for the PDF DVD, there was a hiccup in getting it to the show; nobody's fault or anything, it's just one of these things that happens. But! Here's the good news - I'm offering a special discount at this page (http://www.thelogbook.com/phosphor/pdf-dvd/tmgspecial.htm), especially for anyone who missed picking it up at TMG; the discount splits the difference between the "show price" that the DVD has sold for at OVGE, CCAG and other shows this year, and the usual price tag for anyone who orders direct. The only catch is that the discount goes away after the 22nd of October (hopefully enough time for everyone to recover from dropping mad amounts o' cash at TMG :-D).
Hope everyone had fun!

I grew my hair and got stronger, angerier, prettier and meaner. They're lucky I wasn't there, it would have been bad for them. Ha ha ha

For those that might care....
We're getting #vbender spammed daily by someone logging in, posting these pics and leaving. I'm not going to put them in the #vbender topic, but i'll leave em here since they are TMG related.
