Before visiting the site I would like to state (possibly for the first time here) that I believe I COINED the phrase "Game On". Amazing how I see this everywhere nowadays. I've actually stopped using it as I did for since 1991 (see old DP 'zines for examples of this):
"Game on, brothers and sisters"
No ill will, just a footnote. Please carry on.

Great historical reference. Wayne's World was the first time I heard someone else use my little sign-off, thought it was a coincidence at the time. After a few years and much research the larger conspiracy surfaced. This is almost as bad as the time I sent Capcom some ideas on an armored robot-guy with an adjustable weapon system called "Roc". Almost.

I hate to say it but "Game On" probably came from Mike Myers and is purely Canadian as depicted in the film.

Blaspheme! You see, I know Mike very well. I've been stalking him for a few years now, and I distinctively remember him stealing the phrase. He knew that no one would take Joe seriously when he mentioned the conspiracy, and said it in Wayne's World to openly mock him in front of the world, with only him realizing it. Now, I ask you this: how could you have been so blind?
