I'm glad I didn't give in to the hype on this.

It's a neat piece and I love Mega Man, but paying good money for a practically useless item just so I can have it on a shelf and say "HURRR LOOK AT THIS, IT DOES NOTHING" is kind of silly to me.
It's not silly. It's a collectors item. It's kinda what most of us do here.
