As I mentioned in the "Introduce yourself" thread, it's my second time on this forum. I recently graduated from a Parisian journalism school and I just launched a new video games website (it's now my job).

Even though it's in French, I think that some of the things we put on it might be of interest for a bunch of you. For instance, we put new high quality videos of old games daily : http://www.jv247.com/video.php?type=retro

Those are not videos that you can find on YouTube. They've been recorded by us exclusively for the site. We've already got videos of rare games like Pepsiman (http://www.jv247.com/game.php?id=882&content=VIDEOS) (PlayStation), Segata Sanshiro (http://www.jv247.com/game.php?id=530&content=VIDEOS) (Saturn), Alien vs Predator (http://www.jv247.com/game.php?id=6&content=VIDEOS) (Jaguar), What's Shenmue (http://www.jv247.com/game.php?id=769&content=VIDEOS) (Dreamcast)...

But that's not all. We're also constantly adding videos of newer games (in HD for PS3 and 360 games) : http://www.jv247.com/video.php?type=exclusive

Another thing that we try to do is to put the games' ending on the site whenever we can. We think it's nice to be able to find all those endings in one place and in high quality.

I hope that this thread won't bother anyone and that you'll enjoy checking out the site. If you do, come back often, we add new videos every day.

Thank you for taking the time to read this message.

I look forward to an alternative to all the goons on youtube that release low quality videos with bad commentary so I will definitely watch some of the videos. Hopefully you can do 8 and 16 bit too.

Yes, we will also record videos of 8 and 16 bits games. There's actually a few of them already on the site.

mh, haven't downloaded one yet, but do they have commentary? If so, please let it be English :/ There's already one great show out there in French only (or was it Spanish?) and with the English Retro Core gone it would be great to see something new

The videos are gameplay only, no commentary. But we also do shows, but those are only in French (for now).

I checked out your site, Rom, and it looks nice.

A bonus for me is you have Shaq Fu. Yes!

Thanks :)

We try not to stick only to good games.

maybe emumovies.com can help you snag some stuff that you don't have. They have HQ releases too, not sure of the exact specs though.

Didn't check the videos yet (since I'm at work), but kudos on the site. Well-written, well-spelled too (a site full of typos is a turnoff). I don't know whether it will find its place among other gaming news sites on the Web, but it's always in the details that a gaming site finds its niche, through exclusive videos (like the ones you linked), in-depth articles... In other words, not just the same things we can read elsewhere, say on wired.com...

Bien joué et longue vie à ton site!

Are these videos of actual hardware or all ROMS?
