hi have a pal sega cdx i cant get no boot screen but it powers on please help me as this console is rare

I have no idea what's causing it then, it says it's been cleaned already.

thanks for you help could it because i am useing a 9v 850ma sega power adator
i just looked on the bottom of the console and it sayes DC 9.5v 1.3a where could i get one i am in the uk please help me

Does it still play music cds properly? Do you hear any sound/music when you try to play the games?

Edit: Did the adapter come with the system or are you using another Sega adapter you already had?

i am useing a sega mega drive 2 ADAPTOR witch is 9v 800ma
but i just can say one thing i can use the portable cd part i have tryed it with two batteries and it reads music cds
but i email www.console-repairs.co.uk
what could be wrong he says it could be a video chip or a bios probleam
so i will send it to him as i dont want to break it anymore than what it is

Get the propper adapter first.

That adapter is underpowered in voltage AND current.

i used a 10v 1.2amp sega adapter and still the same

Ok. Now that a power supply of capable proportions have been tried, now we can move on.

However I don't know what to suggest from this point.
