Amiga power light question...

Been on an Amiga kick lately (as others have been in the other thread) and purchased an A500 off ebay at a pretty darn good deal. It all came in today, and after some massive cleaning of layers of dirt, it looks and works fantastically. But, something is here that I do not remember from my original A500 back in the day.

The power light is red, as well as the CAPS lock light. The drive light is green. This was reverse as far as I remember. I distinctly remember the power light and CAPS being green. Am I wrong? I did a Google search and it came up that the A500+ had this type of light config, but this is definitely not an A500+. Does anybody know anything about this?

It's been a while since I've been inside a 500, but I believe that connector can be reversed.

From what I remember it, my A500 had a red caps lock LED. It was one of the first A500s ever sold, so this is probably the original configuration. Doing a Google image search reveals that both versions exist, but the red power LED seems more common.

I think Robotriot is right - there was about 6 different revisions and the laters had green while the earliest were red like the A1000.
