Majoras Mask(I heard it blows =l)
If you play the game expecting another Ocarina of Time it will blow... but it is more of a second quest. Kind of like the Movies Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back. You get through the first epic and in the second movie, everything goes to hell and gets dark and evil. Majoras Mask is a lot darker and has more ambience than Ocarina of Time. Its a lot harder and complicated too which makes it pretty good to play for seasoned Zelda fans.

Surprising that a guy called gamerater wouldn't know what the good games are...or is it?

Majoras Mask(I heard it blows =l)
In my personal experience, most N64 games blow. I'll give it another shot(including the Zeldas), but it hasn't really impressed me at all.

I get that your post is sarcastic and most of those are bad games, but why is Qix on there? The Gameboy version is one of the best games for the system(at least it's one of my favourites).

Qix always seemed to be the title you'd find when you looked for Game Boy games back in the day. Go to a mom and pop store that sells games? There'd be Qix. Thrift store? Qix. Friend getting rid of games? Qix is mixed in. It always seemed to be the last title left that nobody wanted, and I was never really fond of it. It was far too linear and simplistic compared to the other experiences on the system, such as Zelda, or even your average platformer.
It's not a bad game, as far as gameboy titles go, but it's just the repetition of seeing it that made me dislike it.
Also, Hianke Alien. However you spell it.

Yeah, it is pretty common. It's like Tetris, I see it everywhere but it's also one of the best games for the system. If you get a high score you see Mario playing an instrument(the guitar in the desert is pretty neat). It's the same with people hating Super Mario/Duck Hunt or Sonic 1 because they're common. They're common because they're good games, that's why they sold so well.
And it's Heiankyo Alien, though I find it decent but not memorable. I don't know why this game sold so well.

Right, but all the titles you mentioned were Pack-In titles. Qix seemed to be the most common non-pack in game that nobody wanted, but apparently everyone originally bought.

Has anyone thought of the disc based systems getting rough and rusty? For the old systems, it's fine if you don't touch them for years, but for the disc based units, you need to bring them out and fire them up once a while. I may be wrong, but I have come across systems that the belts needed to be lubricated, any feedback(s) over this?

The only thing that comes to mind is the Famicom Disk System, where the disk drive's run by a sort of rubber cable that goes bad after a time. Some other early disk drives might also be run this way, goodness forbid.
