well, I'll just let this game describe itself to you, through the medium of moving pictures (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uvF8EeQ0Esk).

Bus! The school bus!

Move the bus to the left, move the bus to the right.

What's worse is that I immediately recognized who made it thanks to the split second look at the "developer's logo"...

It's the dude that made BasiEgaXorg - the genesis basic compiler

that was... um... interesting.

But yes, the quote will go down as one of my new faves:
"Bus! The School Bus!"

Fuck Hugo Chavez, the guy who "wrote" the "music" to this is America's true enemy!

For some reason, I actually laughed out loud at this.

Agreed, that's probably why.

My first thought was to expect something like Threebrain's Schoolbus (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vD_72U0b_2g).

As funny and nonsensical as it is, I kinda like it as art. It's a little, interactive thing without a clear reason or purpose, kinda asking you to fill in your own interpretation. The meaning could be as deep as you want it to be, if you can get past the awful music. I see it as abstract anti-art.

Editors Choice Platinum. This gives London Cab Challenge a run for its money.

I googled this masterpiece and found that it's packaged in a few rom torrents for those who are ready to take the step from observation to participation. If you can handle it.

I just checked my (rather old) romset, and sure enough, it's there-- but it's only version 0.8. And it doesn't have the quote. :(

Just so you know, Ed, "Bus! The School Bus!" is now a household term in the Mitchell/Devinette residence.

What machine is the homebrew ROM for, anyway? Nobody's mentioned that.

Genesis/Mega Drive.

Somebody commented on the Youtube page that the guy used a compiler that allows the Genesis to run games programmed in BASIC.
