Well, I just got a mint in box NES Control Deck for free, at a convienence store I used to work at. One of my old coworkers had it in her trunk and gave it to me for free. *shrugs* just my luck I suppose, plus it's been a LONG time since I've seen a -clean- NES. heh.

Today at a garage sale I got a PSOne console with 17 games for $30.00. :)

Somebody's selling me all the Super Nintendo boxes (flat, but still in great shape,) manuals, and issues of Nintendo Power (they said they've got 40-100 AND Nintendo Power #1). Not sure on a price yet, but since they're a friend they shouldn't soak me too bad ;)

At a flea market on Wednesday I bought a used Odyssey2 with 18 loose games for $2 and an Emerson Arcadia system with the styrofoam and in the original plastic bags(no box :/ ) for $5.

i didnt find any "Rare" stuff but a kid from school sold me a sega genesis with 11 games he wouldnt sell me just the games so now i got an extra sega the games were

I got two items today...

Miner 2049er for the Atari 5200 (Cart only but in really nice condition)

Phoenix: The Fall & Rise of Videogames (3rd Edition) by Leonard Herman. The one thing that surprised me about this book is the size. It's much larger (dimension-wise) than the first 2 editions which I already have. This is, in fact, basically the same size as the DP guide and Video Game Bible so it'll fit well with those books on my bookcase... :D

I got one more item today...one of the gaming books I've ordered recently. This one is "High Score!: The Illustrated History of Electronic Games" by Rusel DeMaria & Johnny L. Wilson. It's got tons of photos (most in color) and there's photos on most every page...lots of great stuff here. My only quibble is I don't like the dimensions...it's longer than it is high.

That's not a bad book though they are more concerned with PC stuff than console games. No mention of the Odyssey 2 whatsoever, what?!

Does anyone think that $45 was a rip off, or is that about an average price?

Oh, and I also found an instruction manual for the Menacer 6 game carrt inside the box. Lord knows what it was there. :/
