Introducing a new series I've created called Retro Resurrection. This is my first finished review for the series and I'm focusing on Kings Quest VI in it! I'd love to do more if people enjoy this. I worked pretty hard on it so I hope everyone likes it, and if you do please spread the word! Check it out when you get the chance, feedback would be highly appreciated. :D

Could have been good, but trying to put a 3 1/2 into a CD drive ruined it for me.

Thanks, but strangely enough all friends I've showed this video to like that part. Personally I wasn't sure how funny that would be but I decided to throw it in there. The main reason I included that bit was to show that I actually am running the game on my computer by using a legitimate copy of the game.

I liked this review because I loved Kings Quest.

I like seeing the old floppies, but yeah I thought the part where you are trying to put them in the CD Rom drive , and then the front of the computer, was lame, otherwise, pretty good video I'd probably watch another, it was short and you can tell you enjoyed doing it.

I loved the Sierra series of games with King's Quest being my favorite. My style leans more towards the typing style of King's Quest (1-4) than the point-and-click style (5-7) but KQ VI was awesome, and the last great game in the series.

Anyhow, I enjoyed your review and found it entertaining. I even liked the opening part where you're trying to fit a 3.5" into a CD-ROM drive. I'd definitely watch more videos from you. I don't, however, understand the use of the Metroid music for reviewing King's Quest. Wouldn't using Greensleeves or other KQ track make sense?

Using the Metroid music was just (at least i found) the fitting music for the intro. I wanted to, and always plan to, using something 8-bit for my openings.

Also I could not find any good Kings Quest VI music for that part. I've got the soundtrack and nothing felt right in that place. Although I never thought about using Greensleeves.. But you're not the first to say something about that and I plan on using something different next time.

Thanks for the feedback!
