Labor? I used to intentionally not take the warps! :)

I have beaten the game quite a few times. I personally think it is easier to beat the final levels in Super Mario All Stars because you have the chime that tells you you're going the right way. I think Super Mario World was way harder than even Super Mario Bros. 3. I didn't beat that game until last year despite being exposed to it when it first came out!

I beat it quite a few of times. I was in high school when I got my NES in 88, thats all I played the first couple of months.

A true Classic, and like many others here...beaten several times warp free. Like many classics, I love that you have to play in one sitting, although if you were like some, you could "keep the NES on", turn off the TV, go to school", and come back to finish.

Really? I think its the opposite. I love SMW more, but SMB3 has many more challenging areas for me. I can do it but still struggle finishing it 100%, where with SMW I could do it while only losing 4 or 5 lifes on my way to 96 exits.

A couple times on NES, and many more on SNES.

I don't remember exactly how many times I've finished the original Super Mario Bros. I do know that I have completed it fully at least once on the original cartridge, All-Stars on the SNES, and SMBDX on the Game Boy Color. I have played quickly a few times by using the warp zones, but I prefer going throuh the whole thing. I enjoy pretty much every stage, and since I prefer gathering points rather than going for speed I have no reason to skip worlds.
