Was Killing Floor on the 3DO? I can't seem to find any info on it.
Nope, your probably getting it confused with Killing Time which was on the 3DO.

The DIRTY-GREASY Vendor..
Though I won't buy from this guy I still like looking through the Masses of stuff he has.
Filthy scatched up Xbox System that's he's been putting out for almost a year $100.00
I looked through his two high stacks of NES games,SMB2,SM3 etc..Every game has a worn or trashed label, the dirty of the dirty..I know this guys prices so I won't even bother..A guy wearing a bookbag that looked familair started looking through the games,he asked a vendor helper for a price 2-3 for $5.00(something like that)..The guy snatched up a nice pile/he grabbed what I would grab(that gave me a smile).......
.. but you still have to go through the DIRTY-GREASY Vendor to pay inwhich his price set is not of what's told to you by the helper.
$5.00 each..no haggle with this guy..The buyer just left everything and walked away.
Next time just look for the Shirtless DIRTIEST-GREASEST Vendor for price.it'll save a lot of time.

eBay:
As stated in the last thing, I really have enough cart only Pokemons heheh. Bought 108 as is Pokemon GB games (17 each of Blue, Red, Yellow, Gold, Silver, Crystal) for about $140 shipped, 3 work perfectly, about half need new batteries and the other half are destroyed because Gamestop decided it would be a good idea to sand the connectors down instead of replacing the batteries (they're all Gamestop refurbs), so right now I'm looking at at least tripling my money after I get around to replacing the batteries. :)

A lot of cool stuff.
/me drools at the Shining Force stuff. Why can't I have anything nice? Then /me looks over to the shelf with Earthbound, a prototype NES game, and Vectrex system and just says "meh". That's a really great find!
No game stuff at all found on Friday or Saturday. Sunday we went out of town to Austin to do stuff for my sis's birthday. At the Lakeside (think it was called that) mall I went to a game store aptly called "Gamerz" and got a Turbografx controller for $7.99 and a minty boxed copy of the NES version of Jeopardy for $5.99. I also flew by the flea market earlier today (sunday) to check about those Ukuleles. The guy had a vintage Regal uke and a Cortley baritone uke. They both need work. Both instruments need new strings and the Regal needs a new nut (look it up silly dirty minded peoples) but the guy relized they were a bit rough and wanted $60 for both. When I finish fixing up the Regal it should be worth $40-50 and the Cortley should be worth at least $100.

got a 30% off coupon for goodwill. So I went yesterday and picked these:
MegaMan X5 (CIB)(PS1) 1.99$
Super Gameboy 2.99$
Final Fantasy VII (PC includes instruction manual) 1.99$
Anyone know the approximate worth of the FFVII for PC? Not too interested in selling it just curious if I got a good deal on it. All I see is extremely inflated prices on ebay. 89.00$..? Don't think so.

Looking at completed listings, ones with only the instruction manual actually sell for around $30-40. Ones that have the big box sell for $70-90.

Nice find on FF7 PC. Now, get yourself an old PC with a gamepad (unless you like playing with the numpad), a 3dfx card, and an ISA soundcard with soundfont support. FF7 doesn't get much better than that. Don't install it on a modern PC without reading up on it first, it uses some funky video codecs.
Does it have all four discs? The install disc is important, because the other three just have the videos and the field data.

GameBoy System - $1
Donkey Kong Happy Meal Toy x2 - .25 Each
Small finds from different sales All IAP.
Black GameCube System (Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition Bundle) New And Sealed - $20
This was just put out as I was looking around, I figured it was just a boxed system but picked it up and looked at it and the lady mentioned how she got it for her husband for Christmas one year and he never opened it. Was asking $30 and I said I was thinking more like $10 and asked about meeting me in the middle which she agreed on.

Mario vs. Donkey Kong & Pokemon Sapphire Version - $5
Atlantis: The Lost Tales In Double Jewel Case With Manual - .50
Forgot to include this stuff in the picture with the Genesis stuff from Saturday. The GBA games I found at the second sale I went to (that was unadvertised) had about 20 PS2 & GC games marked at $5 each, nothing I was intereted in but I asked about games to which 4 GameBoy games were brought out. I passed on one of the Mega Man Battle Network 3 games & Pokemon Pinball. Wanted $3 each and $5 for the Pokemon game and took my offer of $5 for both.
Atlantis was found pretty late (probably about 11:30) with some other PC games, was asking $1 took .50 no problem.
50 Sega Genesis Games, NES Controller, NES Starmaster Joystick - $35
Forgot To Put In Picture - Cliffhanger, Madden NFL 98 & Sub Terrania
Boxed Games With Glare - Sonic, Sonic 2 & Taz Mania
Cart Games With Glare - Shining Force, Sonic & Sonic 2
It was late in the day when I got this, probably shortly after 11. I actually found it at a 2 block sale and was surprised it was still around. Table full of Genesis games that was priced $1.50 a game. I offered $20 for all of them which was countered with $50 but could go to $40 and I asked if he'd meet me in the middle at $30 from $40 and he said $35 and I agreed with the controllers added in.
Looked like a handful of games sold but not much before I got to it, I'm thinking that the guy must have been asking more (I'd guess $3 per a game maybe $2) and marked them down after a few hours if they weren't selling too well. He might not have been as willing to deal I'm thinking if it was earlier.
http://img245.imageshack.us/img245/2420/fleamarket9609.th.jpg (http://img245.imageshack.us/i/fleamarket9609.jpg/)
Virtua Cop (R-Zone, New) - $2
Picked this up thinking that the seller would ask $1-3. He wanted $6 at first or $5 saying his kid wanted no less then that. I told him I was thinking a buck and he said I could have it for $2 and he would tell his kid he got $5 for it, I'm guessing the kid bit was a lie.
Silver GBA SP With Case & 10 Games - $12
When I saw this I tried the system out and nothing. I picked up Donkey Kong Country and asked about selling just that or if they were selling everything and it was everything. Wanted $20 and said that the system did work when charged. With the charger missing offered to do $15 to which I was thinking $10 and asked about meeting me in the midde and I got it for $12.

Recent finds:
For those in the know, the Planescape: Blood War boxed set is very difficult to find. This one is complete and near mint. Found for $1 at a yard sale (along with unpictured complete and near mint Campaign Box Set). Blood War in this condition will typically sell for $120-$150 on ebay. Gaiden was $10 at local pawn shop.

I haven't posted in a while due to lack of income, but I found a couple of things at a local thrift today.
DS Lite charger - $1.99
Killing Floor (PC) - $1.99
Logitech mouse with USB connection (the only one in the store) - $2.99
Was Killing Floor on the 3DO? I can't seem to find any info on it.
Killing Floor for the PC? I think the retail edition of that game came out just a few weeks ago! It's been on Steam for awhile though.. Did someone use the code and ditch the game?
Or did you mean Killing Time? That is on the PC and 3DO, but the PC version is much more difficult to find.

No sure. I'd probably go crazy and buy all I could find at that price though. I have no doubt that you can ebay/auction/sell for a nice profit or at least make some trades with that edition.

Saturday:
Stopped at a GameStop to browse the used PS2 and DS games. Mostly garbage or decent games in garbage condition. I walked away with Point Blank DS in excellent shape for $7.99. In desperate need of expanding my Saturn collection, I then stopped by a local small time game store. Found Galactic Attack and Die Hard Arcade both complete for $5 each.
http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u160/Xexyz1337/IM000534.jpg
Sunday:
I decided to give a regional market nearby a visit this Labor Day Weekend. The very first vendor I visit in Shack A has a small selection of PS1 & PS2 games sitting in the middle of a bunch of DVD and VHS movies. Nothing interesting in the PS2 section and the PS1 games were the usual common sports titles. Curiously, hidden underneath a couple of fallen over sports titles, I come across Vanguard Bandits in excellent shape. Unfortunately, it's missing the Lunar 2 demo disc so I bring this fact up to the vendor. She lets me have the game for just $1.
http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u160/Xexyz1337/IM000535.jpg
The rest of Shack A is a bust so I move on over to Shack B. This shack is mainly comprised of temporary vendors, and consequently the place where my best finds usually are. One vendor whom I had purchased Genesis games from 3 weeks ago was still there. I gave his numerous VHS tape boxes a good, thorough search because I happened across a Genesis game mingling within them before. No such luck this time, however, I then notice an odd box full of audio cassette cases on the ground. Low and behold, Phantasy Star II is just sitting in there. I picked it up for $5. It's missing the hint book, but is otherwise complete.
http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u160/Xexyz1337/IM000536.jpg
Next up was a vendor right next to the Phantasy Star II guy. I never saw this guy before, so I gave his lot a look through. I immediately notice he has a bunch of boxed Genesis and Super Nintendo ex-rentals sitting in a 42" LCD TV box... Stacked 4 rows deep, it was a real pain in the ass to look through. It mostly consisted of sports titles, a real bummer since I was hoping for some ex-rental RPG's. Wound up picking up Natsume Championship Wrestling, Saturday Night Slammasters (slightly sun faded), Metal Morph (never heard of it, surprised it's only an R2), and Dr. Robotniks Mean Bean Machine for $12 total. All the games were missing their manuals, and I've convinced myself now that FCI probably closed its US publishing branch due to funding that P.O.S. Metal Morph game. Also, it took me 2 and a half hours to clean and remove the security rental stickers plastered on the sides of the SNES games.
http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u160/Xexyz1337/IM000537.jpg
I make my way to Shack C which has nothing of interest, and then Shack D, which isn't a shack at all, just an open lot. Nothing there either, so I'm off to the last Shack, which is full of regulars who set up shop all year round. Shack E actually held some promise. A small, electronics focused vendor I rarely visit a few stalls in had a small selection of PS1 games. Sitting in the middle of them was a non-GH Final Fantasy VII. I can't tell you how many times I've passed this game up over the years, but ever since the price skyrocketed, I've never seen it in the wild. Having never played it before (seriously), I decided to pick it up. Complete, and in excellent shape, the vendor let me have it for just $3.
http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u160/Xexyz1337/IM000538.jpg
Last, but not least, I make my way over to a vendor that I've bought from on a couple of occasions over the past few years. She had some new inventory, and was letting it go for $5 a piece. I talked her down to $4 each, and walked away with complete copies of Comix Zone, Kid Chameleon, and Ghengis Khan II: Clan of the Grey Wolf.
http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u160/Xexyz1337/IM000539.jpg
Went to Blockbuster today and found signage for a B1G1 on used games $14.99 and under. I only had a $10 on me, but I did find a couple keepers.
PS2 - Guitar Hero: Aerosmith $6.99
PS2 - Arc the Lad: End of Darkness $Free

Or did you mean Killing Time? That is on the PC and 3DO, but the PC version is much more difficult to find.
Try finding the Mac version, talk about difficult to find. I barely found one right after its release, and have never seen another copy.
Yesterday I hit the Irving, TX Movie Trading Company store to make use of their Labor Day 'Buy 2 Get 1 Free' sale on used games. Well, I only found one game I wanted, so I asked if accessories would count. They okayed it, so I bought a copy of Bangai-o for the Dreamcast ($24.99), an Atari Jaguar controller ($14.99) and a loose copy of Traysia for the Genesis (free, but $9.99 regularly).

Nice finds Nayus. If your copy of Metropolis is the Vestron release, it's the one that Georgio Moroder had redone in 1984.

Flea market finds:
http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j238/foxhack/DP/dp-2009-09-09-cds.jpg
FFVII -$6
Cosmic Creeps Atari cart - $3 (for trade)
2 Live Jews: As Kosher As They Wanna Be and The Grey Fox (aheh) - $1 a pop
The Ward (PC game) - $2; this one's a weird one, the cover has a T rating, but the discs say Rating Pending, and the manual says something about features in the beta version. Huh.
As I was leaving I decided to take another look at some booths, and I found this little thing on a table.

It's a bit crushed, and it's the Apple II version, but it's still brand new. Maybe a collector will be interested...
I also got a package from Oobgarm. Dude, there's some extra cash coming your way to cover the extra postage costs.

There's no games, only back inlays and manuals. :P Everything's in good shape, except for the KOF '95 manual (it has some sunfading). I needed to replace several manuals, and hopefully I'll get a disc only version of that Samurai Shodown game down the road.
ETA: And the Action Replay Max detects my USB stick just fine... HELLO THERE SOFTMOD BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAA

Have you seen the game? Well, if you can call it a "game". It's horrid. You can't do anything until you do a bunch of dance routines or something. :P

Was the game made before or after they were still culturally relevant?

Hey Kitsune, how well does that Saturn controller work? People often cite it as one of the worst modern-day controllers ever, but I've never used one.

I dunno, I haven't tested it yet. It can't be as bad as the PS1/2's DPad...

I've got one. The L and R buttons suck, they don't have much tactile feedback. It's kinda neat that you can press them from the top, but it's useless when you can't tell how hard you need to press them. I really want to get a regular Saturn pad to replace it.

When garage saling on Saturday I got:
Best of Mike Myers SNL DVD- $1
Best of Tracy Morgan SNL DVD- $1
Fast Times at Ridgemont High VHS- .50
There were some games at garage sales, but I either had them already or they were ridiculously over priced.

but of course! Too bad (maybe not) they are 'blocked' by the Spice Girls logo.
Was the game made before or after they were still culturally relevant?
I'd say 'as' to just starting their decline.

Okay, you guys are arguing about the Spice Girls game... Did you even notice the 2 Live Jews CD in the first picture?!?!?
(Makes me feel better that I'm not the only one that buys weird CDs for the sake of their weirdness. /me looks at the Bela Fleck CD on my desk)

Are you farking KIDDING ME? I got one of their other albums for a buck years ago, and I never knew they'd recorded another album until today. As for other weird albums... I could go on about my collection, but that's a topic for another thread...

2 Live Jews. :P
As for today's finds... A friend of mine asked me if she could go hunt for stuff so I figured, sure, why not. I found a bunch of decent stuff today.
http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j238/foxhack/DP/dp-2009-09-10.jpg
The SNES / SFC adaptor was $5. The booth also had a bunch of import SNES games: Super Mario World (Korean version), Super Aleste, Kunio Tachi No Banka (I'm getting this one for a friend tomorrow), Magical Quest with Mickey Mouse and a Power Rangers bootleg. They also had a Famiclone in the shape of a Famicom! (in fact, the guy selling these didn't want to sell me the SNES stuff because he insisted they were for the Famiclone!) A little while later I got Robot Carnival for a buck (in great shape).
And on the way out, I noticed a booth opened up and had a bunch of DVD cases out. I approach it and notice PS2, XBox and GC games! Most were in decent, complete shape... but some were trashed. I picked out REZ and Tekken Tag Tournament GH for $10 total. I needed Tekken Tag Tournament (it's the only pre-PS3 Tekken game I'm missing!) and Rez, well, it's Rez. I'll most likely keep that one for me. The cases are dusty and dirty but the artwork and discs are juuuuuuuust fine.

I hit up the Movie Trading Company store in Duncanville, TX and bought Super Hydlide (Genesis), Wonder Boy in Monster Land (SMS), and Blades of Vengeance (Genesis), all loose, for $15 in total. The Blades of Vengeance cartridge has a bunch of Vintage Stock stickers on it, making me wonder how it got down here since there are no locations in Texas.

My cousins and I hit up a couple of places around town today. We ventured up to an area we don't frequent as much and they managed to find a few deals.
First stop was Target. One cousin wanted to go in but his brother didn't at first so we jokingly put it to a vote and he eventually relented. Turns out it was to his benefit as they had one copy of MadWorld for Wii left for only $7.50.
Next stop was Best Buy. I rummaged around the XB360 section and found a single copy of Spectral Force 3. I handed it to the cousin who didn't get MadWorld and he picked it up since it was price dropped to $20.
On the way out, I spied a GameStop tucked in an odd place in the plaza. We parked again and went to take a look. It turned out to be run by a guy who used to work at my location a few years ago. The cousin who grabbed Spectral Force 3 ended up grabbing a new copy of Stella Deus on PS2 for $20 and Labyrinth on DS for $6.
Our last stop in the plaza was a place called Books-A-Million. All 3 of us ended up walking out empty handed from that store but I did spy a couple of coffee table books for Everquest and World of Warcraft that I wanted to nab. Unfortunately the books were both $30 each and I didn't have that kind of cash on me. :beaten:

Whenever I see stickers like that, I assume that a previous owner either purchased/traded for it online or moved from the area the store was in.
