I want to know whats the best alternative to an official SwanCrystal carrying case. I want quick access to mine but with a protective case, so I dont have to keep pulling my box for it off the shelf and opening that. I have an official one for the monochrome WS but not one that fits for the Crystal. Any ideas?

Maybe a game boy carrying case? Theres a lot of foamish ones out there. I have a couple intended for the GB color that I dont think would fit a SwanCrystal, but I have another one that's for the GBA SP that would fit it. I'll find a pic.
Here it is:

When I used mine, I would utilize the front pocket for my SP and the rear pocket for my DS. I then proceeded to fill the little netting pockets on the inside of the back pouch with GBA/GBC/GB games (i had/have a seperate case for DS games)

Out of curiosity... What is that purple, rectangular, thing next to the GBA SP that looks like it plugs into it's port?

I'm not absolutely positive, since I merely googled to find my case model. I would assume it is a GBA to headphone adapter though, since the guy appears to be showcasing his GBASP stuff and there is no other adapter. Also you can notice the sliders marked POWER and VOLUME as well :P I also really want to say the buttons to the right of that say LEFT and RIGHT, but I'm not sure...
I do have a GBA power > headphone adapter though. Its small, and purple :D

I use a soft case that's designed more for a compact camera. It protects the system just fine.
The system is robust and doesn't really need any protection other than scratch protection, I think.
