Recently I tried to acquire a semi-functional Sega CD Model 1 + Sega Genesis Model 1 with a bunch of games (including a complete Lunar 1!), but alas, I was sniped. I did manage to acquire a Model 1 Gen with Model 1 SCD, but with no cables. So now I begin the hunt for some cables. I'm pretty sure the Model 1 Gen needs a DC 9v 1.2A, which I don't have BUT I do have a Jaguar Adaptor that outputs just that. Would that work with my Gen without screwing it up? Also, I don't know what king of adaptor a Model 1 SCD uses, does anyone know? I have a Model 2 Gen adaptor ( DC 10V .85A), but I've read that it isn't powerful enough ro something. Finally, I've seen at least 2 types of A/V Cables for gen, one that's for Gen 2 & 3 and one for Gen 1, but whats the difference? Thanks in advance guys 8-)

The Jaguar AC adapter will work fine with your Genesis. The Sega CD 1 uses the same adapter as the Genesis 1.

The difference between the video cables is the connector. The Genesis 1 has a DIN8 U type connector while the Genesis 2/3 use a mini DIN9 connector.

I've got a extra Genesis 1 RF Switch and AC Adapter. If you need them, shoot me a PM.
