Sony still has to address the issue that caused the bug.
The internal clock works with GMT time so it's logical that it fixed itself (in GMT-0:00 it is 3/2/2010 by now, a date which the OS doesn't have a conflict with). But don't worry, Sony has 4 years, until 3/1/2014, to fix it ;)

I think that it's a plot to make everyone forget about Mega Man 10 coming out.

Naw, they are just aping MSs gig to see what happens.
Theory: If they get the reputation of the console that falls apart if you look at it cross-eyed they can take 2nd place away from 360! LOL

Thats pretty funny.
Sony had better fix this quickly and give away a few PSN freebies, or I'll be happily pirating Sony stuff just as I've been doing to MS Windows for years now for similar reasons.
Thats pretty pathetic:shameful:

If kupomogli is serious, then it's officially the end of the world.

It was the PS3's internal clock, for whatever reason it thought February 29th existed and it caused a conflict because it didn't. Well, that's how I understood it anyway.
It was a belated Y2K issue. Over a decade later and problems are still popping up.
