Either Shelly Duvall's "It's A Bird's Life" or Big Bird's Egg Hunt. If Big Bird actually counts as a bird.
Or, wait. What about Phoenix? Those are space birds, but that's one of my favorite arcade games of ever so that would definitely be it if space birds count.

Deadly Duck, Atari 2600. If only because of the name and cover art. YES.

These are not the forums you thought they were...
And dammit, someone else said Flicky. Grrrr...I'll vote for Duck Hunt.

Desert Falcon would be number one in my book, and Agony for the Amiga by Psygnosis (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=so5NZERbeNU) would be second.

Chicken Run on Dreamcast.
or that "Bird Seeding" puzzle game on WonderSwan.
shamefully, I would have forgot to mention Joust

If cartoon characters count, Duck Tales on the NES.
I also like the New Zealand Story (aka Kiwi Kraze on the NES) - and I'm a little surprised that I'm the first person to mention it.

There's also Pengo. I'm pretty sure most of the other bird games I like have already been mentioned.

Potty Pigeon - Fly around, gather materials for your nest, take a shit on passing cars. What a game!
Chuckie Egg 1 and 2 (A8, C64) and Freeway (VCS) spring to mind

That is Freeway designed by Activision. It's basically a "get the chicken across the road" game. Good times.
And about Potty Pigeon, a girl in my grade school class in 3rd grade told me her grandma had the game and described it to me and I laughed.
What computer or system was Potty Pigeon for?

Most of them have been mentioned but I want to add Quackshot, Kuru Kuru Kururin 1-2, and Yume Penguin Monogatari.

I also enjoy Eggsplode for the NES. You used the power pad to stomp on bombs that sneaky foxes put under rows of chickens. If you stepped on an egg or let a bomb go off, game over.

Lots of Birdies and Eagles in here.
