OK, so we have another lameo friend (or himself) posting how great the Irate Hack is on Digital Press yet again. He Bores big time so there is turth in the name, eh? I can't wait for the Hack's new retro gaming review to come out in 2011 by the way. Maybe then he might actually sell one of his poorly made DVDs.

I'm also not a chickensh!t and I admit I copy the AVGN a lot and have all three of his DVD's too. Just look at my shameless Michael Jackson's Moonwalker review for example.

Thats one thing I have noticed. The way the AVGN gives out information at least makes it seem like he knows what he talks about. Sometimes he makes tiny mistakes but thats being human. The Irate Gamer appears to just dump out quick facts that he recently looked up.

I think he hit rock bottom with his E.T. review, where he copied the party line that it's the worst game ever EVAR. Hasn't this guy already reviewed N64 Superman (and to be fair, beat AVGN to that one)?

He hasn't reviewed Superman yet, as far as I know. He does deliberately attempt to review games before the Nerd does though, based on references he makes in some reviews. The Nerd tends to review games he makes reference to at a later date, so this is no doubt a sneaky attempt for Irate to brainwash his fans into thinking the Nerd is the one who copied him.

For example, when the NES accessories review came out, the Nerd specifically mentioned that there was one accessory he left out, which queued in R.O.B. to rise in the background. Well, the very next Irate review just so happened to be R.O.B.

Also, in another review the Nerd says "Makes as much sense as Tim Allen fighting dinosaurs", which is obviously a reference to the game Home Improvement on the SNES. I bet you can guess what the next Irate review was.

Just one more thing I want to throw out there; in Irate's Aladdin review he uses the phrase "Monkeyfuck". Now, any Nerd fan will recognise this phrase right away. Well, when the Irate DVD came out, this phrase was REMOVED from the episode. Guilty conscience perhaps?

This might all be a huge coincidence, though due to his previous activities and his apology (which was made public due to the Nerd's youtube account actually being run by Mike), it's likely not.

Yeah it sucks, but the only way to counter all these lameos is fight back and I know Chris really hates all the negative press he has gotten. His girlfriend dumped him, he cancelled this second DVD, and he has barely released any videos over the past couple of years. Like his totally embarrassing radio interview where they called him out live on the air.

The Hack is going to great lenghts to copy James ahead of time and the ET, Home Improvement and Gyromite reviews really suffered for it. The conartist doesn't even try to hide it anymore that he's directly ripping off material, he's just too gutless to admit it.

I only rip on the Hack dude, I'm actually a big fan of the gaming community here and I love watching other videos on Youtube and Bliptv. Sadly that's my problem with Mr. Bores. He's not a active member in the gaming community and he has sloten from other reviewers like James and Nostalic Critic without giving them credit.

I agree with a lot that has been said already. I must add one thing, though. Ryan Genno (I think that's who Starsoldier1 is) has a really good review website. His videos aren't my favorite by a long shot. His text reviews are pretty good though. He plays and reviews a lot of great games.

You're right about that. It weird that we have all these people defending a conartist yet I don't think one of them has his DVD or at least be showed in public with it. Yeah, before he started ripping off James he also copied the show Ghost Hunters for whatever reason yet that show got an awesome review on Amazon... by a person named Chris.

I get some people asking me to do voiced LPs, and I've tried to do them, but I have issues with doing them in English. I don't mind doing them in Spanish, though.

Another reason why I don't do voiced LPs IS the fact that the original game audio track gets muted. I've figured out a workaround, and if I do one, I'm only making comments on some areas, not the entire damn game. :p

AVGN would never do a video with the Irate Gamer. The Irate Gamer made a name for himself by plagiarizing Rolfes show. Chris Bores is a loser who steals ideas from other people. He doesn't have a creative bone in his body. He's suited for doing wedding videos locally. That's as far as his talent lies. The problem is that sometimes people will stumble upon the Irate Gamer first, before they've heard of AVGN. They will think the idea is funny. And then later on when they hear that the whole concept was created by a guy called AVGN, they're not willing to believe it. But facts are facts. AVGN came first.
Not only that, but the Irate Gamers videos are not even close to the same level of humor as the AVGN's videos. The AVGN has comedic timing. The Irate Gamer is like a guy at a party who tells a joke and no one laughs.
