Odyssey 2 Cart question..

Hey all,

Just snagged an Odyssey 2 yesterday and when looking at the games that were remaining at the thrift I was wondering something...If the game has both french and english and the manuals are multi-lingual, what is the region of the game? I assume the two that I picked up(expanded memory games Quest for the Rings and Conquest of the World) were US as everything was in English only, but...Yeah. Kinda new (read: baby newbie) to the Odyssey collecting scene.

Those bi-lingual games are probably Canada-specific releases. I've got a few of those. IIRC, most of the Canadian carts have the same graphic on the label, whereas the US releases each have a different graphic. The expanded memory games were the same in Canada as in the US - I don't think bilingual version were produced.

yeah, I've got a couple of games with manuals and cases, and I'm pretty sure they're all in English.

I'd assume those are some kind of Canadian editions or something.

I'm pretty sure that they're Canadian releases. I believe it's the same with Vectrex.

Yep, I've got some Canadian Vectrex games, and they have half-English, half-French manuals.
