GC Blockbuster Exclusive

The video that plays over and over when I'm working at Bbusta's claims that Cubix: Robots for Everyone Showdown is a Blockbuster Exclusive. I'm pretty sure that it's PS2 and GC only, but I'm not positive. I know my store sells them for 10 bucks even now (cuz no one was renting them). Just a heads up for those that collect BB Exclusives.

Thanks for the info kevincure,I went down to my local Block Buster and picked up a brand new copy of "Cubix Robots for Everyone"on the Nintendo Gamecube for $9.99.Cubix even comes with a dvd that has some episodes of the show on it.This is so awesome,I love the Cubix video game/s :D :o :D :o :D :o :D

Yeah, I saw that a couple of weeks ago for $10 and picked one up. I didn't know it was an exclusive game. Maybe I'll go get a few more.

By the way out of interest how often do you see cheap GC games in stores over there, here they hardly ever sell them out cheap, always full price, even once they cant get rid of them for months. $10 for a game is Dirt Cheap!

mrhaboobi, GC games are actually dirt cheap here, especially used. On any day of the week, I could pick up Metroid Prime or SM Sunshine for 20 bucks or less. NBA Street is easy to find for 10. The most expensive game I've even thought of buying was Cubivore for 30 - GC is a good bargain. (Oh, and systems, even Platinum, can be had new for 150 bucks with 2 new games - used I've found them for 75-80 a lot)

Wow thats crazy. i mean cubivore is one of the games im after, and it looks like its gonna cost $50 to buy online. Gamecube is such a small systems here that even finding used games can be hard, psx and ps2 are everywhere but game cube is a a different story, plus we have only 2 colours for game cube, indigo and black. the beat deal right now is a cube + controller + gba player for 299 ( approx 130 - 140 US ), but thats not with any games and only for a limited time a std Cube is $250 (approx 110 - 115 US ).

Well for now i guess its ebay prices for me, but boy id love to be picking up games that cheap, especially new gear! Wario Worlds is high on my list of must gets :)

If there's an EBGames nearby, make sure to keep an eye out for it there. I just picked up a copy (used but in great shape) that ended up being about $40 CAD after their current discounts kicked in.

Heh. :| :| I was actually looking at a copy of Cubix (GameCube) on eBay the other day but it was $25 US and I didn't really feel like paying that much for this particular game. Now I hear that you guys see it for $10 I'm glad I didn't!

Everything mrhaboobi says is true sadly. :( It's soooo hard finding any GameCube games around here let alone any decent priced ones, today I went round looking for Lost Kingdoms 2 and I couldn't even get a straight answer from any of the shops as to whether they were even GOING to get it in or not - they just honestly don't care about the Cube anymore. >:( :(

i was gonna pic the game up today until i looked at back of box, im not even sure its worth 10$! is it good enough to spend 10$ on? i mean my gc collection has 16 games, and all are respectably good titles, i dont want to ruin my good library with a crap title...

Hahah yes we are getting shafted, half the reason i try and buy my gear overseas.. now if only we coud get shipping cheaper :)

Oh its not the stores that dont care ( though i suspect some really dont ), its monaco and roadshow and a few other suppliers who are too scared to support the system

Hey Thanks for that :) look forward to getting it. AS for Nes stuff,well you;d have to give me an idea of what you wanted, im not big into nes, but i do have some games, also a boxed system spare.. got a bunch of Nes/famicom clones aswell. id like to think we can help each other out :)

Nice little list, ive not really seen many of those myself, aussie rules ive seen a little bit, but NES is pretty slim in NZ.. Perhaps in Aussie and the UK there would be a better chance of getting them. Either way i'll keep my eyes open and will check my collection to see if i have them .Drop me a PM once your ready to settle up on the Cubix :)

Hmm I was thinking of getting Die Hard Vendetta, but I hear it's not that hot heh - if you back to that Blockbuster though (again don't go outta your way I'm not that fussed about it) you could pick me up that 18 Wheeler Truck game for $14, other than that doesn't seem to be anything else really on that list I need.

If you see any of these cheap on your journeys though I'd be interested, some older ones I'm having trouble finding complete copies off and with a decent price tag:
