Magical Chase
Soldier Blade
They came in the bigger cardboard box. Inside was a flimsy plastic tray in which rested the huCard and manual. Hard to find em complete like that, but i have a near mint Neutopia 2 that has the tray.

So that's why my Neutopia 2 doesn't have anything written on the spine of the jewel case. It's not the right case. :embarrassed:

Did New Adventure Island come with a case or no?
On a side note, yeah, when I started collecting the system a few years ago I remember getting Neutopia II and Order of the Griffon and being all pissed that the sticker was "removed" from the spine. TUrns out, the sticker that was removed was from another game...as was the jewel case!

Hey, thanks for the list. And yes, I forgot Bomberman 93. This also did not come with a jewel case if you were unsure. Thanks again!

Ah Hah! No it does not. It looks like the person I traded it from took an old keith courage case and stuck Air Zonk's Instructions and the HuCard inside. My Bad!

Does anybody have a link to a website that has a picture of these different cases?
It sounds interesting, I would love to see a pic of it.

There really aren't any different cases. These later games came in a normal TG16 cardboard game box, but the inside had a cheap plastic insert with the card in it. When I say cheap plastic, like a throw away plastic thing. Inside the cardboard box of the older games included a jewel case with an instruction manual in it, and the game card. They also included a rectangular piece of foam inside the cardboard box to prevent the jewel case from shifting around. These late releases that did not include that jewel case (because they were trying to save money) did however include a manual that was the exact perfect size to fit into the slots of the front of a jewel case.

The plastic tray seems to fit perfectly in a jewel case, unless the one I have isn;t what the games normally came in. Has anyone out there made up their own artwork for the backside of a jewel case for these later releases? It's be nice to print them up and have cases that fit in for the later games.

You must have something else. The plastic tray that the later releases game in was the same size as the cardboard boxes..almost twice the size of a jewel case, and flimsy clear plastic. There's no way it would fit in a jewel case...someone must have constructed your case from a TG16 jewel from an older game.
I just picked up an Air Zonk in a jewel case too. I thought it was odd that it had the little round thing in the middle to put a CD on. heh

Moreover, if anyone wants to see what a late release game without a jewel case looks like, here is my complete Air Zonk auction:

This is exactly how any of those late release hucard games came. Just the card, sleeve, manual (which ironically is the exact size FOR a jewel case), box, and that plastic tray (may be hard to see as the game is on my black couch).
